It absolutely baffles me how a person of sound mind can fail to put the correct items on a sandwich. The information is WRITTEN IN FRONT OF YOU. It is more baffling when they put ingredients on a sandwich that aren't on the sandwich in the first place (and weren't requested). I don't care how old you are, if you're above 7, you should be able to handle that. 5 lbs of lettuce does not go on a Cubano. Mustard, shocker I know, does in fact go on a Cubano. This isn't rocket science.
I realize the toasting thing is still somewhat new, but you aren't supposed to put the cheese on the outside of the bread before toasting. It turns into a rock hard mess and makes the bread uneatable (yes, that's a word, and the proper one). Oh, and you're supposed to "toast" the sandwich, not burn it.
From here on out I will not be tipping online and instead will open the bag in front of the delivery driver, check the contents to make sure it's correct, then tip accordingly.
It shouldn't be a 60% chance of getting your correct order when ordering a sandwich, chips, and a drink. And let's not talk about the straws, mustard packets, etc. that run correct about 20% of the time.
I would be embarrassed if I was the owner. Very much so. The only reason I continue to order is the amount of gift cards I have. Might donate those now. And, while I know it's not this location who is responsible, the chips aren't even seasoned anymore. Cutting corners everywhere.
Go to Jersey Mikes, Firehouse, or pretty much any other sandwich place if you want a decent sandwich made by a competent employee. Joke of an...
Read moreVery expensive for sandwiches! They didn't get my order right either. On another visit I couldn't believe what I saw when I walked in. There were bags of food on the floor. While I waited for a customer to make her order while surrounded by the bags and blocking the cashier, a worker came out and swiped another shelf of bags onto the floor. After that customer was done, I too had to stand surrounded by the bags the entire time I made my order. Another thing that bothered me was that once the customer was done ordering I stood waiting for a while for someone to take my order. It wasn't until the worker making the previous customers' order said "customer", did another worker who was just standing doing nothing and not paying attention to what work needed to be done finally came up to the register. Me standing at the register should be self-evident that I would like to order and should be taken care of without having to be told. On a side note, I can't believe they take the middle of the bread out of the sandwich and don't even ask if you want it that way. I saw the worker making my sandwich before I was even done ordering. When I said leave the bread in the sandwich, they had to cut another loaf and start over because they had already put mayo on the loaf, they were working on. Who knows how long that loaf sat there waiting for the next customer to order not knowing they take the bread out of...
Read moreDisappointed and frustrated. Placed a catering order 2 days in advance with a store manager. Pick up my order and head to my event assuming the order to be correct because it was a pretty simple order. Arrive to the event and the order was incorrect. I had to send someone during the event to the local Subway for replacement sandwiches and it cost me more than what I paid Jimmy John’s for the wrong food. I called the store during the event and was told I needed to call back the next day. I call back the next day and the GM tells me she can partially credit me fur a future order. No thanks since I’m out the Jimmy John’s and Subway cost. GM says she has to discuss a refund with the owner so now I’m waiting 2 more days for the owner to hopefully contact me. While picking up my catering order, I also order a wrap in store. Open my wrap, and yep, wrong too! There was 1 other customer in the store when I arrived so they weren’t super busy. Just wish I received a better response than a future credit to the large amount I’m now out getting sandwiches from 2 different places because of...
