UPDATE:
I just got off the phone with VISA and they told me that businesses must inform you that they charge for credit card payments and the maximum for same is 3%.
I placed an order for $114.50 to be delivered. They charged taxes, a delivery fee, and I left a $20 tip for the driver. Then the last item on the receipt was a "transaction" charge of $5.85. I called and asked the reason for it and was told it was for credit card transactions. Nowhere on their online ordering process did it mention this. On top of that, they charged 4%. In my opinion, they have turned this into a profit center! I get they don’t like paying the processing fee but to pass the whole thing on (and then some?) is wrong. Cash is not without costs - the delivery driver now has to conduct an exchange with me and an exchange at the store register. And do you think the driver feels safe carrying cash?
Also why do they impose this charge on deliveries? Especially the orders placed on-line. I used none of their resources to place my order or to serve me, or to seat me, or a place to park, or to clean up after me, or balance the till. Perhaps you should charge a fee for dining-in as that too raises your costs. They love the automation that technology provides and its positive effect on the bottom line! Read more2nd time having an issue with this location. I ordered pizza at 6:15pm so the pizza could be available for myself and my client after her appt. About 8:30pm I contacted this location only to find out they canceled my order because instead of the order being an hour it would be an hour in a half. Jackie stated she had called me 3 times to notify me. The lady on the phone was very apologetic but Jackie with attitude was in the background kept saying well we called 3 times. Very unprofessional, hard to believe she was a manager on duty. The team member was more professional and sincere. I was expressing my concern being this was the second time this happened and just to make them aware so they wouldn't have anymore frustrated customers with this experience and instead of her listening to me she was more interested in who was right or wrong about this situation and making excuses. As a manager on duty you would think they would try and make the situation right instead of making a customer more frustrated about this happening a second time. Read moreI ordered ahead, since we were traveling. Bread sticks were decent, although they aren't sticks, but the pizzas came out with cold toppings and raw dough. We showed the waitress and she immediately took them back. The manager came to the table and asked if the pizzas were just soggy. The waitress had seen the raw dough. He said they would put the pizzas back into the oven. I said we won't have time to eat there and that we would still like to have a refund. He said okay and walked to the back. Waitress came back and said it would take about 10-15 minutes for the pizzas. I told her we would put the kids into the vehicle and come back in for the pizzas if they were done. She said okay. I went back in and the hostess said she would get the manager. He said no, I immediately threw them out. So, he lied when he said the pizzas would be put back in to finish cooking. We wasted an hour of our travel time and ended up with hungry, disappointed children!. We felt that refunding us and giving us the pizzas seemed fair for the inconvenience, but in the end we had ended up with just an inconvenient experience!
