Years ago I came here and was not a fan. Decided to give the place another go and it did not disappoint!! By far some of the best poutine I’ve ever had. Also a big fan of the southern comfort foxy fries (I actually dreamt about getting them again). Truly could not choose a favorite between the two. My boyfriend and I have gone twice this week it is so good. Also tried the pulled pork sandwich which the meat and bbq sauce were terrific, my only complaint is that it could’ve had a little more meat on it. We also had the wings which were well seasoned and the sauce on the side complimented them well. We already want to come back and try the smash burger and other items on this menu. Very excited to add Lock 27 into our restaurant rotation.

update as we now come here once a week. The classic smash burger is out of this world, we have to order atleast one when we come. Also tried the blue cheese chicken sandwich (swapped BC for Swiss though) and it did not disappoint. The slaw was a little too wet but the chicken was crispy and not too thick. The poutine has been consistently amazing. This fall they had my personal favorite HVO blackberry bliss on tap and then rotated to a similar berry cider that might have turned into my *new favorite drink. Also had a berry cocktail (name?) since my original review and it was good. They can’t serve liquor on...

Lock 27 has been a favorite until my experience last evening. Was there with a "birthday" group of 4. We have made Lock 27 our "go to place" for these events. Disappointed in the options. Not everyone wants fries with their burger. Not very accomodating. You could swap for a side salad for $2. Or, you could get asparagus for $2. The "ONLY" option that was an upcharge was white rice with black beans. A friend had the fish and chips (substituted the asparagus for the chips) and when she asked for more tartar sauce (whatever came with the fish), she was told that would be an additional $ .50. Then we were "offered" a brownie dessert that 'they do" for birthdays. I was charged for it ... Customer Appreciation Brownie at $5.50. I did bring that to the attention of the waiter and he took it off ... glad I looked, I normally don't. I believe the quality of the food has changed ... the $12 burger wasn't as big as it used to be. Their beers used to be so good ... now they are kind of blah ... Also, I find it interesting that you want to charge me for condiments, but what about that bun I didn't get on my burger ... I didn't get a credit for that. I know this is nit picky ... but, the Lock 27 experience isn't what it was, so our group won't...

Came here last Saturday late morning to visit a new brewery and try new beers. The bartender Katie was very friendly, professional and made my visit memorable and pleasant. She was awesome with every customer that came in after me.

The place is big, spacious, clean, and has that usual brewery character. The men’s washroom was clean. The outdoor patio was clean and inviting, even though this place is in a shopping center.

The beers were very good. They don’t have beer flights at a fixed price, though you can get small pours at a discounted price depending on the beer. They have flight paddles which are worn but sturdy. Clearly they’ve seen a lot of use and action. My favorites are their brown ale with honey and a s’mores stout. The flavors and full and delicious, not watered down, and made well. They have many different styles, each made well with good flavor and something for everyone.

Bartender Katie and staff even let me use their electricity to charge my phone. That is world class service.

The next time I’m in the area, I will definitely make a stop here. Can’t wait to see what other beers they’ll have! Give this place...

This local brewery resturaunt is great. The waitress was pleasant and super helpful. She gave us a free tasting of all the craft beers they make. The specials we're great. The only negative I can see is that serve huge meals with super small plates so some of your fries fall onto the table. Try the longboil brew it is refreshing and Tasty. I almost forgot... The flagship brew is their " mouthbreather" made with hints of ghost peppers and other chilis.. actually quite delightful in its complexity.
