I have gone to this kroger store for several years and not once have I had a problem until today. Saturday, April 1st 2017 at 2:00am. I drove to this location because I wanted to by a couple of food items to make dinner for myself. Now, I mind you, I had just got off work since I work second shift.
When I pulled up and went up to the entrance there were two older looking people, one female and one male, who were wearing kroger uniforms. Obviously, they were employees and were having a smoke break outside the store.
As I walked up to the entrance, the older male employee stopped me instantly and told me they were closed. I said "Why are you closed, I thought this was a 24hr Kroger?" The man tells me it's because kroger has some type of new company policy and that it prevents customers from going into the store to shop from between the hours of 1am to 5am. The lady who was also taking her smoke break replied with the same answer. I asked them both, "Why the hell would kroger make that kind of policy if it is a 24 hour store?" Neither of them reply to my question and rudely told me to leave immediately. I kept asking them, "why won't you answer my question?" And of course, it is a valid question but insteadof being nice about it, they kept being rude and told me to leave at once.
Now, I didn't want to start an argument because I was already having a bad day because of work. I got really So I decided to get in my car and drive to Walmart to get the things I need. And now because of these two clowns, I had to make an extra 20 minutes, out of my time to drive to Walmart I was pissed off that they wouldnt let me in this store because of a policy that I definitely believe they made up and how rude they were to me.
Because of these two assh**, I will never go to this krogers and shop...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would, The girl working morning of 12/26 around 8 am at the Kroger STARBUCKS I ordered a sugar cookie latte iced with two pups extra sugar cookie and an extra shot⌠was made wrong and terrible. She didnât greet me, waited for a couple minutes before she helped me (was not helping anyone else) and walked to the computer, didnât say a word to me just assumed I would start ordering, and I was trying to use Apple Pay and she just looked at me dumb, and couldnât tell me they didnât have it⌠and rolled her eyes bc I took to long to get my card out to pay, then when she game me my drink I said âcan I please have a straw â in the meanest voice she said â WHATâ and I said could I please have a straw as if I was just a inconvenience to her day. If she doesnât want to be there which itâs obvious she doesnât this isnât the first time sheâs been like that itâs every time I go in there or anyone I know! I recommend replacing her, reading other reviews Iâm not the only one who has encountered her rudeness. I didnât catch her name, I donât believe she had a name tag on. But I took one drink of my drink and threw it away, a waste of $7!!! Was to frightened to go back and get a remake she was not people friendly...
Read moreKroger has been my default grocery store for years. My recent visits, however, have been disappointing and left me looking for a new option.
Every time I go, regardless of time, the aisles are choked with staff members stocking shelves. I get that they have to do their jobs, but it is sort of a crap shoot as far as customer service. I have gotten some polite "Excuse me"s and "Please, after you"s, but just as many cold stares, huffs of impatience, or disregard for aisle blocking. All this would be fine if the shelves were actually stocked, but there is always at least 2 items per visit that are completely unavailable, whether they are on sale or not.
The app is terrible. Kroger Pay is the shiny new feature, and for security purposes requires enrollment. I have not done so because 1) the grocery store I switched to allows this feature without requiring my credit card information on file, and 2) fully half of the items I scanned in the store showed up as "unreadable," even though most of them were Kroger brands. Trying to scan and shop on my last visit took 3 times as long as my visit with the competitor down the road, and that other visit had more items.
Grocery shopping is already a chore. Kroger makes sure...
