I have always wanted to try the 5-Ways Chili at Skyline. What sets Skyline Chili apart is its unique take on chili, which differs from the traditional chili con carne. I was in restaurant management for about 10 years, so when I leave a review for somewhere I ate it was either real good, or real bad. Fortunately, this Skyline falls under the former.

It was pretty clear when I came in (2:30) they had been rocked for lunch. My positive review comes from what I observed in the recovery period. The store was post-rush, guests were still coming in, but the staff all stayed busy getting things back in shape. They were cleaning, restocking, taking temperatures, and they did it as a routine, which tells me it's part of their culture. I witnessed good hand washing and glove techniques when employees were coming back from break and changing tasks. Those are the kinds of things that mean behind the closed doors you can still trust your meal.

The food was still delicious and the service still fast and friendly despite everything else they were doing to stay busy.

We visited the Centerville Skyline today Frisay, May 22nd 2020. This is the second day they were open for dine in! It was fabulous! We went right at noon and there was no waiting. Wonderful to have a table! Our waitress was great, and the manager was helpful and friendly. We felt very safe. They cleaned the tables thoroughly, wore their masks properly, were friendly and helpful!! We could not have asked for a better experience for our first time in a restaurant in about 9 weeks.
