CakeBar + Bakery — Restaurant in Central Point

This is my second time coming here. The first time was a few weeks ago. We got lemon curd cheesecake, cake slice and tiramisu. It was all kinda eh. The cake was super dry. I figured I'd try it out again so tonight my kids wanted the large meringue cookie things they had and I got the carrot cake since the employee last time swore by it but it was out last time. It had lemon curd, raspberries and mascarpone whipped cream. The bite of it all together was just weird. Like it should have been good but wasn't. The carrot cake was dry dry and tastes like refrigerator. Its just unfortunate since we did make a drive to Central Point specifically for the meringue. I'll attach the receipts. I have loved Cakebar since it came to Central Point but this new owner is absolutely putting this place on the map. Best tiramisu around hands down, amazing menu to choose from, desserts that seem unique (blackberry jalapeno cheesecake was one of the best things I’ve ever had). We got the chai tea latte tiramisu this week and it was literally a 15/10. I love chai tea lattes. I love tiramisu. But together??? This new owner knows exactly what she is doing. We have been wanting to check out this place for over a year now. We finally drove out from Wolf Creek. The wedding cake and cosmic brownie and strawberry margarita cake were delicious. The 2 gals in the front were not very nice at all. We were let down on the service end of things unfortunately. No smile, no small talks no thank you, just kind of seemed miserable. We made this stop on the way to a very important medical procedure kindness would of went along way and I dont think we will be going back.
