A Heavenly Brew at Cafein - Centreville's Hidden Gem! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cafein, a charming cafe located in Centreville, and I cannot sing its praises enough! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I was in for a delightful experience. The warm, inviting atmosphere created by the tasteful decor and friendly staff made me feel right at home.

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee hit me as soon as I entered, and I knew I was in for a treat. I ordered a cappuccino and an almond croissant, and they were nothing short of heavenly. The cappuccino had the perfect balance of bold espresso and velvety foam, a testament to the skills of the talented barista. The almond croissant was the perfect companion to my drink, with its buttery, flaky layers and a generous helping of almond paste.

I gave this location a 5 star because the people specially the trio [ the owners are the best humans I've ever met. I've been a Cafein client for over 15 years and the coffee was the best I've had in years. they change baristas often now a days and some are good and some are GREAT. This new location offers a HUGE menu and I love the cortados - I visited recently and I was a little upset my cortado was cold. I ordered the Honey B on Croissant [ this dish is the BEST I can't say enough good things about this combination of flavors that crispy bacon, the swiss cheese, the arugula, and that honey truffle oil and the siracha mayo ] OMG!!!!!!! GET IT - just get it. Well on this day I guess they waited for the honey b to be ready before they gave me my cortado and it arrived cold. I went over to the ladies making the goods and neither Ryan or Ming were there and the lady said i was lying..... I NEVER LIE ABOUT COFFEE - I brought it to her and said to see for herself. she didn't seem too happy to remake it for me but she did and I waited for it cause I don't like my coffee cold. I would only have on suggestion if possible - please don't wait for the food to be ready to give me my coffee. I would wait no problem. other than this I am a Cafein girly for life. Cafein is THE number coffee shop in northern va. Top down culture provides all of the employees with tremendous attention detail to best practices, customer service and overall coffee knowledge. ESPRESSO - most consistent espresso taste . The cortado and latte drinks are exceptional because their consistency in their signature espresso taste. POUROVER - there hasn’t been a shop in this area that have the attention to detail with doing a Pourover. While this drink isn’t necessarily a big money maker for a coffee shop, it generally shows the passion for coffee by the coffee operators. LATTE ART - There are very seldom you see lattes art talent as you see in this shop. This is not an exaggeration, the coffee shop regularly wins latte art competitions and the baristas are encouraged to always improve their skills. FOOD - although they have a very small space, they have been able to put together an incredible menu that packs flavor into their sandwiches - suggest trying the honey B sandwich. Atmosphere - this shop is completely out of place for its location , the ultra modern city vibe is a welcome addition to a city packed full of coffee options.
