First time here. My review of this place. Place: very cute modern style restaurant. Not typical interior for Thai restaurant but I can tell they did good job decorating. Service: friendly servers and great service. Food: I ordered crab meat fried rice, tofu soup, and Tom yum soup. I never order fried rice anywhere but I wanted to try this because it’s not typical fried rice that I can get from anywhere. It was very large portion. There were plenty of crab meat. I loved how it was not salty and perfect flavored. Tom yum soup was great too. Not too salty, spicy, or too sour. Good enough chicken and mushrooms inside. It can be little more flavored though. I ordered tofu soup for my toddler. When she was eating I found a hair inside the soup. I thought it was seaweed but it was a hair. Curly hair that’s not from us. I was upset but I usually ignore this kind of stuff because restaurants can make mistake and usually continue eating after taking out. I don’t usually get grossed out for this kind of things. However, I felt bad for my child so I decided to pointed out to the server. She was nice enough to exchange for me. That was nice enough for me. When I got my check, they put that in house which was very nice customer service. I’m giving them 4 stars now because of the hair. First time here and seeing that isn’t too good impression. However the food and customer service were amazing so I would give it another try next time. ————————————————————— Another visit today. Ordered same crab fried rice, Tom yum, and drunken noodle. They were really good. Even my friend told me she loved crab fried rice. I’ve been to Thailand twice and this place is the one that reminds me of foods from Thailand. Their papaya salad is the best I’ve ever had. So good.

This is my partner's favorite restaurant in the area, so I'm writing a review. He's usually the type to only order one thing from a restaurant- for American, Hispanic, Chinese, etc. This was the first restaurant that made him want to try something new. He's pretty judgemental, so most places are just okay to him. This one was amazing. Hands down the best Thai restaurant he's ever eaten at. Every time we're in the area, this is our go-to spot. (I didn't get a picture of the duck dish he ordered- I'll try to do that next time.) And for my word- it's a lovely little restaurant. The decor is unique and adorable, it's got a maximalist-chic vibe with large bookshelves filled with a lot of items that make it feel homey and a little upscale all at once. If you order a drink, it comes in these very hipster glass jars, which are reminiscent of Mason jars- but convenient to pick up. (I'll try to get a picture of them later too- I'm very into the jars.) The seats on both sides are cushioned, so there's no fighting over who gets the booth and who gets the hard seat- both are lovely to sit at with equally amazing views. The menu is round and has high quality food photos on each page. I'm also quite picky with what I eat, and this is the first time I've been to a restaurant where I liked their dipping sauce. Overall, this is my favorite Thai place- not just in the Fairfax area, and definitely worth checking out if you're around.

The best Thai restaurant in Clifton area. The dishes taste really good especially the crispy duck curry is a must try and you won’t regret it. Pattaya Seafood and chicken ka pow are also the best seller. Also the crispy fried whole fish is great. The sweet rice is really a perfect combination to their tasty dishes. The only downside of eating here is, it takes a bit longer for orders to get served because it’s just them who runs the store and only 2 servers are taking orders for to go, dine in and pick up. Also the place isn’t that big but it’s clean and well arranged. Just be patient because the food taste really good. It’s worth the wait.

It took me a long time to write this but I've tried multiple times to revise, but unfortunately it is true. I've been their customer for the past 9+ years. After they moved from the (near Costco) location to this shopping center, their food has not been the same, every time my food taste different. my favorite used to be Ka Paw (spicy garlic and basil) but it is not the same any more. Customer service has become awful. If they have more than a couple of customers, the service become very slow. The waiters snap at you if you have question. I think it is a cultural thing but it is very rude in my opinion. They also tend to grab your dish before you are done and without asking. All of the sudden a hand is along the table and your dish is gone! well, excuse me! I'm still eating! They also speak loudly (I guess Thai language) with each other while getting your order or communicating with you (that is also rude). Another negative is that if you are eating and they are about to close, they literally ask you to leave! while you are having your dinner they come to your table and say you rap it up, we are closing in 5 minutes! After this event, I did not go back to this place even thou I love Thai food, they don't have the good food and also they have bad customer service! so why should I go...
