Very bad customer service! My sister came visit me and we decided to get Popeyes fried chickens for our families. We placed our orders via drive-through. Both my sister and I have the Popeyes app on our phone and we would like to order 2 separate family meals with the coupon code that we got from our app. We were told by the drive-through cashier that he couldn’t process our orders because we could use the same coupon code which we got from different Popeyes accounts. We were told we would have to do another drive through by going back to the end of the drive-through line to place another order. This just doesn’t make any sense to us as it didn’t make any difference to them if they processed our orders separately vs making us to get back in line to place another order. We asked to speak with the store manager and he had the same bad attitude and customer service and he stated that it’s their company policy that they can not process 2 different orders per a vehicle. We were so dissatisfied with their customer services we left without our orders and went to the Popeyes at the Greenbrier Shopping Center. At this Popeyes location we were able to place 2 family meal orders using the coupon code in 1 transaction. I just don’t understand what kind of company policy that the Popeyes in Colonnade Shopping Center is practicing. It is just very bad customer service and I will never...
Read moreI took some carry out from a Popeyes in Clifton, VA on Union Mill rd. When I first came in to order, an employee told me one second before even saying hello. Then he was taking too long so a manager comes and takes my order. I give him a coupon and he too says give me a minute which by that point I have been waiting ten minutes before I can even tell them what I want. I ordered ten peice tenders and a 5 pc mixed with 2 sides and a biscuit. They give me ten peice mild mix chicken instead of the tenders. The fries that I got tasted really old and was not fresh. The biscuit was over done and extremely old and hard. The chicken tasted old and not fresh. I go to Popeyes all the time, I love Popeyes. I know exactly when it is fresh and new versus old and cold. This visit had to be my worst experience at Popeyes. I even came back into the restaurant to tell a manager but he was no where to be found and I was waiting a good ten minutes before anyone even noticed me standing there. At which point I told them that I was given mix chicken instead of tenders. They took back the chicken to god knows where, I just hope they did not resell the chicken because that would be disgusting. The manager was no where to be found so I could not complain to all the problems there were with my order which is why I am writing...
Read moreIt's a typical Popeyes. Which means some very tasty chicken. The sides could be improved, but that's meant for Popeyes as a chain, not this location in particular. There's plenty of parking, but around the store itself and across a small access road where the larger shopping center is.
EDIT March 2024
The food is still pretty good, but service is terrible. Long story, but I'd wanted to order 12 wings for about $12. Someone (manager?) informed me that I could have them as ghost pepper wings but otherwise I'd have to wait 30 minutes for other toppings. I said no, and she said they could put together another order with some (unspecified) number and add a chicken breast or two instead. I said fine.
So the counter person rings up my order...for $36!?! What? He insisted that was the order. Took 10 minutes and some yelling on my part to straighten it out. They insisted that's what I'd ordered. I eventually DEMANDED they call the police because I wasn't buying, hadn't ordered, $36 worth of chicken. They refused to call the police, but were very reluctant to fill my request for about $12 worth of chicken, with them choosing the substitute chicken. . I finally ended up with a box of chicken that probably should have cost $6 or $7--a breast, couple of wings, and fries.
A really...
