I ate at this location on a Friday evening after running an errand in the same shopping center. The opportunity to have some week-ending nostalgia for my past experiences with my family was too convenient to pass up. Stepping inside took a little adjusting for me to a relatively dark space. I received a quick greeting after seating myself at the bar from one of the barkeeps who promptly and courteously offered me a menu and bread to start. The staff seem to have good relations with a number of customers and know a few by name which I always find reassuring in a neighborly way. The service I received was attentive throughout and slightly conversational (another staff person noticed we shared fandom for the same NFL team). Food was delivered within accepted times if not a little sooner, and both staff people checked with me to verify I got what I ordered. Clearing my plates as I finished rather than waiting until I left would be a minor quibble I could offer on otherwise pleasant service. Recalling memories of years ago, I ordered a Wallaby Darned drink, a house salad to go with the bread, and their sirloin and chicken combo with loaded sweet potato and veggies (zucchini and carrots). The drink has a smaller size than years ago, and I actually appreciated the more restrained portion even for the price. A sweet concoction, I enjoyed this drink as before and could have had an order for dessert if I thought ahead. The house salad had familiar flavors in the dressing and salad, although I spotted a piece of iceberg lettuce that had a touch of brown around its edge. Reducing the amount of white lettuce overall would be an improvement. I enjoy the bread even if I remember past versions being served warm. My main course arrived with most everything hot except for the sweet potato. The chicken was a little juicy and seasoned well and had a nice char flavor without being too much. The steak was cooked correctly to medium rare and flavorful all the way through. I did encounter a last piece that was mostly gristle, so I wonder whether some additional trimming of cuts before cooking would make this offering more as intended. The sweet potato peeled away from the skin nicely and had a soft roasted look and feel. The vegetables were steamed well and could have used a little seasoning. The total bill amounted to just over $35 excluding tax and tip, so in current times I feel like I got decent value for my hour here. I like how Bloomin’ Brands (which owns Outback, Carrabbas, Bonefish, and Fleming’s) has kept the menu consistent with the past while variations from time to time. If I were in the area for a similar or other errand, I could certainly visit again and enjoy some familiar flavors at modest prices by current standards.

First time visiting this Restaurant and it was alright. Our server seemed to be a bit clumsy and she wasn't exactly rude or anything of that sort. She just seem not to care because for example, she wouldn't offer us more bread,we had to ask for it, she didn't ask us if we wanted any type of sauce when she brought our food, we had to ask for it. At the end she didn't offer any dessert either, we had to call her, And she also failed to pick up dirty plates from the table. I understand its the busser work but The restaurant was not busy at all for it to be a reason Why she wasn't attentive to our needs. She didn't look us in the eye and just seemed to me she wasn't trying at all to cause a good impression of the restaurant. My boyfriend and I concluded she was in a rush to leave and that explains why we felt the way we did. Moving to the food part, it was okay. But honestly for the price I think it wasn't worth the price. I have had better chicken than that and for a way better price. In my opinion we had bad luck with the server assigned to us and the food was missing something. It tasked like that reheat leftover that isn't fresh and with good quality flavor anymore. I might be going back someday in the future just to see if I have a better experience but for now I dont think it will happen anytime soon.

Had a great dining experience at this Outback location. We came when it was not too busy, so we were quickly greeted and sat by staff. Immediately, we received complimentary bread and our drinks, and this quick and constant service continued to be a staple throughout our time here. Despite it being a steakhouse, we were really craving chicken tenders, and thankfully we left not only satisfied with our cravings, but also surprised at how good they were (considering that’s not what they specialize in). The tenders were huge, well seasoned, juicy and flavorful. The chicken also had a great crunch with the breading; I believe its the same breading used for the bloomin onion, but I’m not 100% sure. The sides were also tasty, hot, and fresh. If you opt for tenders, I recommend asking for a side of bloomin onion sauce for them, as it makes them even better than they are. The awesome staff and customer service was the cherry on top to this fine night.

I’m a big fan of patronage in my local community area and when I moved to Clifton in 2007 my husband and I began enjoying this local restaurant. The outback here has always served us well and tonight was no different , just even better than we remembered!. We were trying to go out for St. Patrick’s day as a family and with our t3 kiddos it can be trying to say to least, but after arriving for our dinner reservation , we were greeted by big smiles and were sat at a nice table in the main dining room immediately. The bar looked slow for st. Patrick’s holiday but the holiday vibe was on fire tonight. Our server Tac and his assistant Gia were outstanding. Honestly I was blown away by the hospitality there. I even got to tell the restaurant manager Frankie a Big heartfelt thanks for having someone like Tac on his core main staff!. The food was great and the kids loved the kids menu too much, even asking for some extra fudge on their desserts!! Then for a st. Paddy’s day gift, Frankie the manager gave our little girl an outback kids t shirt that made her megawatt smile brighter than ever!! I really appreciate that this local franchise goes out of the way to make its patrons feel special. I’m glad we chose the perfect restaurant to ring in this holiday (& our only regret was that they needed to bring back their green pints of beer!). If you’re in this neighborhood, please give it a try or head back to be pleased that it’s still so great! Special thanks again to all of the staff ( especially Tac & Frankie who exceeded their job requirements by a million!)& all for their efforts tonight! We’re going to see...

I have never had such an amazing experience with a server before. No joke. Jared B is the most personable and kind server I have ever had in my entire life. Hands down, not lying. He was attentive, accommodating, informative, kind, personable and made the experience such a great one. I have had a rough couple weeks at work and felt so exhausted. I came in on Friday night and I just wanted some "me-time." I sat in a booth in the bar area. I'm so grateful that Jared was my server because he was just a good vibe overall. Sometimes people can be overly loud and energetic, but I was tired and just needed to chill and he created a chill vibe and got me everything I needed and more. He just seems like an amazingly genuine person. Please recognize his amazing customer service. If you all give any incentives or awards, he deserves one. He is definitely an asset to your team there. I will definitely come back because of his service. Honestly, it's not even about the food, even though it was good, it is about the excellent, top notch service I received. I hope management sees this post. Also, Frank was the one at the front who lead me to the booth and he was so kind and welcoming. The entire staff there seemed great, so please also recognize them as well, but in particular, Jared as well. Thank you for...
