Braddock Park — Attraction in Virginia

The turf soccer field is really nice. There are 6 softball fields that are in good shape. It looks like the softball fields were built where they best fit the area, unlike Potomac Park where it is clear that the park was designed for the fields. Comparing to other public fields in Fairfax, the fields are very well maintained. Any rain in the day and the fields will be soaked, but they drain in a day. There is no shade to be found. There is a building for a bathroom but it is not nice. Don't park your car near the softball fields during game time. The big hitting teams are put on the field that has the outfield...

The fields are not maintained as well as they should be. Even when dry there are large I would call them ravines and sunken areas in the infield raking around the bases and dragging the infield is not sufficient maintenance. The bathrooms should have a soap dispenser in the to wash ones hands ,seeing there is a lot of contact during games. Looked nice and kept up. Stopped to just walk around with my dog during School hours around 10 am and noticed about 30 school age teens all over? Back packs on.
