Taqueria Lagos — Restaurant in Ceres

Had a great experience this place has the mom and pop owner feel to it. I ordered a Chile relleno which honestly I didn't want to take a picture of but I was extremely surprised and quit pleased with the appetizer very well made perfect balance with the sauces and cheese and it all blended well with the Chile. Needs work on presentation but it's taste is on point if your into stuffed Chile type of appetizers

I was truly impressed though with the wet burrito overall I would put it under Cocina quality and def above taco truck quality as far as taste and texture.. want quite as wet on the outside as a true wet burrito has... But for a 10 and some change burrito.... Pretty freaking...

Came here for the first time and ordered a super burrito with grilled chicken. Sadly, there was nothing super about it. Menu says it's $7.50. I was charged $9.18. I questioned why it's so high, he said grilled chicken is extra, but no mention of it anywhere. I think I was charged extra for not being Mexican, but who knows. It wouldn't be so bad if the burrito was better. It tasted alright, but it was the smallest super burrito I've ever had. It's worth $6 at most. The bag of chips that come with it, it's very small, basically a sample bag. On top of everything, I wanted to eat in, I thought I made it obvious by putting phone and wallet on the table, but he made it to go, basically...

must say, the service I received was absolutely fantastic. The wait staff were attentive, friendly, and overall provided a great dining experience.

However, I must express my disappointment with the quality of the food. The taste was not up to par and it was evident that the cooks preparing the meals may not be experienced professionals. The lack of flavor and overall quality of the dishes left much to be desired.

I truly believe that with a little more attention to detail and expertise in the kitchen, the overall dining experience could be greatly improved.
