Lupita's Tacos — Restaurant in Cerritos

I've hired Lupita's Tacos for catering twice. One event was for our corporation and one event was personal. BOTH times we ran out of meat. The second time around, I was much more observant and proactive to not fall victim of the same situation. We had 87 attendees for our event and I hired Lupitas once again to feed about 90 guests. I paid for the package that feeds 150 people because it wasn't about the money for me. I was willing to pay more to ensure we don't run out of meat. I estimated a conservative 25 percent of our attendees who may have returned for seconds, but truly believe it was closer to 15 percent. Once again we still ran out of meat. In addition to this, 5 attendees complained about experiencing rudeness from the ladies who served the event. The communication from Carely was terrible since we hired them the first time around, but felt the food was good enough we could overlook the poor communication.

I have never asked for a refund, nor expect anything in return. However, it's important for those who seek a taco vender for their special occasion to know they inflate their numbers and under-deliver day of. It's mathematically impossible to have paid for a package that should feed close to double your occupants and still run out of meat.

I read I comment about who cares about the price ! Well I do because best believe am not paying 15 dollars just for 3 tacos alone that’s insane fraud, quality meat please unless their killing the cow in the back but but come on I can go to a taco stand and get 8 for that price and their good too it’s crazy like really I went next door and and got noodles with chicken for 8 dollars literally like bro I don’t mind paying for good quality like a steak or something but tacos bro who are you fooling u can go other places and get a full meal with that bs am sorry ur prices going high is not really a excuse quite frankly their going up for everybody and the Thai place next door still has something more affordable taco stands still pay their people and ingredients as well being inside a mall it’s not excuse for crazy price that’s just dosnt make sense everyone in that mall pays taxes and permits but their still a menu that’s is around 12 or if not the same price for a full meal not just 3 tacos so let’s just be real u want to take advantage that your in a mall to justify...

My son and I were looking for something to eat while doing some shopping and we love tacos so we figured we’ll try this place out, the cashier lady was I wouldn’t say ‘rude’ but definitely not welcoming, we were standing there for 5-10mins without any acknowledgment nor assistance. She finished with the customer in front of us and when she finally came to us her first question was “are you guys ready” which made it seem like she was waiting on us…. Regardless of her attitude and unwelcoming approach I do recommend this place cause the food tasted very good, for a Mall Food Court quality, it exceeded my expectations.
