I had an upsetting experience today and it's not the first of this type of occurence. I asked an employee to check the drawer if they had a new concealer because the box I had was ripped opened so she opened the box and concealer and stated no it's not open so I asked her nicely can u check the drawer if you have more, because I did not feel comfortable buying the ripped box so instead rolled her eyes did not even check the drawer to find out if they had any more so handed the make up to another employee and asked her with attitude if she could help me and my friend and walked away. As I saw another new employee I asked her if she would check if they had more of the concealer and she willingly checked the drawer and stated they ran out, that was not difficult and very easy task to do. Then, as we were walking to make line I stopped to look at their small samples and an employee (not sure if she was a manager) was faced paced walking towards me and said Excuse me I am doing a store check (not knowing what that meant) so I took a step forward so she can walk in the pathway because she was charging straight to me and she walked around me to my left then forcefully opened the drawer below/infront of me almost hitting my legs so then I had to move and keep walking to the cashier stopping my shopping process. Instead she could of said excuse me I will be opening the drawer infront of you and I would of taken a step backwards out of her way. They are very rude with attitude written on their face. In my opinion the new young employees are nicer and willing to help with knowledge about products but the workers that have been their longer walk around with attitude. I made the decision to buy the foundations online without asking for their assistance because it's better to avoid bad customer service. Overall, I love sephora for their products but Dislike Cerritos Sephora...
Read moreSo, I would like to lead this review by saying hands down TAYLOR is that girl !!! She really did her big one and gave real advice and reviews on products. I came into Sephora to get a color match for the new fenty foundation. They sent this young black girl over to assist and no shade to my people but she didn’t know a damn thing about makeup lets be clear there, I ended up making my own decision after she put 5 different shades all over my face. Then I asked her for the fenty lip oil and she got lost talking to one of her co workers about her own personal products and forgot I was even there still waiting on my lip oil. Thank the lord cause that’s when Taylor approached me and asked if I needed any help. The black girl then handed me my lip oil and let Taylor take over. Long story short I spent $800 bucks with Taylor! What got me was when I was checking out, and she saw how much stuff I got, she came over to make sure the cashier knew she helped me as well as Taylor and I just thought that was tacky as hell! Cause gurl u left me for dead , u wasn’t trying to help me u was more worried about your own skin issues. I didnt say anything cause I work in sales and I know how that be! But I just think management should know that TAYLOR was the one who actually helped me and should get full compensation for my sale not ol gurl! She was so unhelpful I forgot her name ! Please do better next time, u shouldnt make people feel like that especially when they willing to spend money , which I was AND DID!! overall my experience was amazing I just thought that was a foul play and yall should know !! Sorry but I had to keep it real !! I work in customer service as a manager myself and I take that very seriously! If she was my rep their would definitely would be a...
Read moreMultiple of the staff were hovering over me and i felt like they thought I was stealing without any proof. I was NOT stealing, and it was also my first time at that location. I have never experienced anything like this before in other locations. Repeatedly the same staff kept asking me if I needed help, a basket, or pointed out products i had in my hand like every minute. I kept saying no, but they wouldn’t stop coming up to me. I noticed they didn't do that to anyone else. One of them went to an isle where I was the only one in to report that someone stole from a section i was previously in, and they need security immediately. I do not work in retail, but I assume you do not want any of your customers know that someone is stealing to keep it discreet to eventually catch the thief. I don’t know what the true intent of this was. I think it was to scared me, and yet I personally never saw security come. Then shortly after, 3 staffs came up to me in under 30 seconds, asking me if I needed a basket. I was finally fed up and decided to just pay and leave. I do not plan to come back to this location, but if I do I hope my experience...
