Occupying the former home of Bun Bun Bao, Siam Station recently opened their doors and is a welcome addition to Landmark Square in Cerritos.
My go-to picks when discovering a new Thai restaurant, are pad Thai or pad kee mao. Perusing Siam Station's paper menus, I spotted Yen Ta Fo, curiously in the "Noodles" section, and not "Soup". I've been meaning to check off Yen Ta Fo on my to-try list, so it seemed the opportune time to avail myself of it.
Yen Ta Fo- Barbie soup. Flat rice noodles, fried wonton, vegetables, tofu, mushroom, fish cake, fish balls & 1 shrimp in chicken broth & fermented red bean curd. I enjoyed the soup. Bright, spicy, plenty of chew in the noodles. I would hope for more than a single shrimp. However, that sole shrimp was plump & delicious.
Mango Sticky Rice- Always a great end to a Thai meal, Siam Station's Mango Sticky Rice was sweet, bright, and creamy.
Service was excellent. The young woman attendant was friendly & hospitable, eager to answer any questions that came up. Ample seating inside. Parking is via a shared lot at Landmark Square. Siam Station is located inbetween Mochinut & Umaya Ramen.
Siam Station serves up great Thai food & service to match. I enjoyed the piping hot bowl of Yen Ta Fo, and am eager to dine on the usual Thai entrees I go for. I do hope they will offer Lunch Specials in the future, as they are a better bang for the buck for thrifty diners, like myself. Good luck &...
Read moreWe were looking for a place for dinner and located Siam Station. I'm so glad we did the menu. It is simple. However, what we ordered was made very well.
We started with the E-san Sausage. Cook to a good crisp and served with cabbage leaves and peanut as you would get in Thailand. Tom Kha Gai was flavorful. Very rich and made correctly. I was so happy it didn't have tomatoes. We ordered it medium and it was perfect Also had Pad Se Wu good could use just a tad of smoke.

Read moreThe restaurant was really kickback and the food tasted well in all facets. Their lychee lemonade has a good balance of sweet and sour, which I feel most individuals would enjoy. The eggrolls were crispy and full of fresh minced veggies. The Kapow dish has to be one of their best as the bell peppers, onions, and garlic with their spicy sauce goes perfectly with their steamed jasmine rice. Will definitely be back, and our attendee Ball did a great job constantly...
