So I was doing about 30mph over, (too busy looking at the beautiful architecture), while on my way home and this place caught the corner of my eye... so wouldn't you know it, I slammed my car in reverse sending bits of my transmission flying all across the road and coasted into a parking spot on the wrong side of the road...
For a Sunday afternoon, wow.
This place was packed! Not an open seat to be found. Promptly greeted with a hello and a warm smile the barista graciously accepted my order of a "large maple", the atmosphere was great. I could've crawled onto the counter for a nap!. It really was quite peaceful.
Anyways, my name was called for my order and I thanked the lady who made it and calmly walked out the front door.
Holly batman barney! Now that is a great tasting coffee. I was oddly surprised at the complexity of taste, being you normally don't get much but this is very refreshing.
Id have stuck around longer but as I turned the corner, I was identified as the owner of the juloppy currently blocking 3 lanes of traffic and had to skedaddle...
I'll absolutely be back for another coffee and maybe a nibble once I get my license back and find another...
Read moreMy husband and I went here yesterday and again today. I ordered the same thing both days. My husband ordered different drinks each day. He also bought bags of coffee one yesterday and again one today their whole bean bag coffee are really good which is why I gave 4 stars. The specialty drinks however lack flavor to us. Kind of felt like you're drinking more milk than coffee. They did have a couple dairy free options almond milk and oat milk. Learning from my friend who is a barista it's best to choose oat milk cause when it steams it holds up better. They use loose tea here which is then steeped while you wait for your drink to be prepared. For the London Fog both days it was not steepeled ong enough in my opinion, because it's loose tea that they don't put in a tea bag this means you can't keep the bag in your cup and allow it to steep a bit longer. Which is why my drink tasted more like oat milk then tea. On a safety note everything seems normal to what other stores are doing. The Aesthetics in this place are also...
Read moreCAPITAL COFFEE and SERVICE...!!! It's a convenient spot on the main drag in Chagrin Falls. I was curious about the coffee there and the staff explained to me they have a particularly interesting roast for an espresso that combines coffee beans from Kenya and Columbia. They brew it with a premium quality coffee and espresso maker which produced a magnificent pick me up.
I returned today and the barista, Heather, was particularly helpful and friendly. She explained to me what some of the different treats were that they offered. I had the bacon and cheddar scone which was surprisingly delicious. It had a nice chew, was tender, and moist. It was exactly what I needed and I can't wait to have another.
Lastly the cortado that Heather made me it was extraordinary, like something at a fine dining restaurant in Paris. I am new to this area but will return again and again for that coffee, scone, and service!
Love everything you're...
