My buddy @verityyata couldn't believe I had never had @foodterminalatl and boy am I glad I listened to her and checked it out!! First off, this place is very spacious and they have all sorts of table sizes so whether you're flying solo or with a large group, you'll be fine. I ordered some TERIYAKI CHICKEN SKEWERS to get things rolling and followed that up with a BULGOGI CRISPY BAO. Now let me talk about this BAO, think of a bao as some sort of sandwich... In this case kind of like a sloppy joe sandwich but 1000 times better 🤤 The bulgogi beef was so tasty and the bread, oh the bread... It was perfectly toasted and coated in some type of honey? Whatever it was, this was my favorite item 🥰 I ordered their TOSSED NOODLE called GRANDMA WANTON BBQ PORK tossed noodles. I loved the flavors and everything about this, I only wish it had more noodles.
I was asked if I wanted dessert so I said SURE!! I ordered their MATCHA AZUKI ice cream and although I thought I wasn't a fan at first (I got a spoon full of red bean), once you mix it all in, it is DELICIOUS!! I am now a huge fan of SAGO which is what you see in the dessert picture that looks like little tiny clear tapioca balls. It was awesome!
I will definitely be going back soon to try their rest of their items but it's going to be very hard to not just order 5 of these Baos and call it a day 😅 Do me a favor and please invite me over with you if you stop by so I have another excuse to eat here 🤣🙏
Edit: When you come in and get sat down, you are given a magazine to go over the menu. Once you know what you want, you take the piece of paper you have on the side and you fill out the item that you want (they are numbered). The waiter/waitress will come and grab your order and put it in for you. My water was refilled often and I was checked in on often, which was nice. Unfortunately if you want to drink a soda, it is sold by the can. I did see they had a drink menu though.

Read moreVery impressed with this place. When I saw the high reviews (not just rating, but nearly 3000 on Yelp & Google), I knew that had to be for a reason.
We tried a few dishes:
Garlic Bone Marrow Noodle Soup - this is heaven! It is what I want ramen broth to taste like, unfortunately, ramen broth is often too salty (umami). This, however, is perfectly balanced with creamy flavor and not overly salty. The thin noodles complimented the broth well and didn’t take away from the flavor. And the pork belly is Bossam tender (if you know that famous Korean pork belly dish).
It took ever bit of my control not to drink the broth directly from the bowl. Lol ... but seriously! 😳
Penang Prawn Noodle Soup - This was good, but I would opt for the Bone Marrow Shrimp soup next time.
Curry Roti small plate - Such a great way to enjoy their curry and roti without having it as a main dish (which leaves room for that bone marrow soup mentioned above). The roti came out hot and fresh and the curry was really balanced in flavor. Without the roti (or rice) the curry on its own was pretty salty.
Crab Garlic Noodles (Tossed) - Yum! I think they call these Yum Yum Garlic Noodles, and I get it. They are light, well seasoned, and absent any heavy sauces. Perfect for warmer weather.
Overall, a great first visit. Love that the noodles used in soups and other dishes are thin and light - not starchy or heavy. LOVE that there is balance in the bone marrow broth and salt is not the main flavor. Love the small...

During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying the honey butter wings and honey butter shrimp, both of which were perfectly cooked with a delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors. The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated with just the right amount of honey butter glaze. The shrimp, tender and flavorful, had that same addictive balance that made each bite unforgettable.
The dumplings were another highlight—packed with a savory filling and accompanied by a dipping sauce that brought out their rich flavors. To top it all off, I enjoyed the beef noodle soup, which was hearty and comforting. The broth was deeply flavorful, with tender slices of beef and noodles that soaked up the essence perfectly.
Service was prompt and friendly, and the staff were attentive and helpful, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant itself has a modern yet cozy decor, making it perfect for everything from casual meals to special gatherings.
