Adda bangla cafe isn’t a Bengali restaurant making just Indian food like butter chicken or tikka paneer like other Bengali spots. They make authentic Bengali cuisines, like Kacchi biriyani, beef chaap, fuchka etc. What they bring to the Atlanta Bengali food scene is authenticity. Their food has a kind of “secret sauce” that you won’t find anywhere else in the greater Atlanta area. You’ll take a bite of the food and feel that this is restaurant quality. The owners are very knowledgeable and it shows in their cooking. More so, the staff is very friendly and the place is kept very clean, something you’ll find many other spots struggle to do. My only criticism may be that the portion sizes of the meat in the biriyanis can be improved and to make the rice a little less dry. Here are the few things i tried and their ratings Fuchka 8/10 - The sauces served with the fuchka were too watery and could use more masala for taste. But the puri had a nice crunch and the filling was cooked perfectly Kacchi 9/10 - No complaints other than just a little bit more meat portion . The jaali kebab served with it is very well seasoned and goes great with the rice. Morog polao 9/10 - Same as kacchi, need more quantity of the chicken Jhal muri 10/10 - I’m happy they just have this. Really great quick snack Beef kebab roll 10/10 - Super fresh beef kebab wrapped in their fresh house paratha Kaata masala chicken and beef 9/10 - Just personally I prefer boneless meat because it affects my portion sizes for protein. But the taste is great and served with paratha or naan Beef sheik kebab 10/10 - had this just the other day with naan. Served with side of pickled onions and you can ask for a side of raita as well. Super fresh and fluffy naan and the meat was marinated evenly with it being very tender and juicy Bhaatey bangali 8/10 - This one is straight up authentic bangali food that all Bengalis grow up eating. Served with a big plate of rice, a bowl of salad, daal/lentil, chicken/fish, aloo bhorta/mashed potao. I had this with chicken and felt like there wasn’t enough chicken served. The dish itself wasn’t very heavy but filling. Tea 10/10 - last but not least an essential for all my meals. I love what they did with their cha recipe. It is very milky but that’s how I prefer it. Ever since their opening I’ve been there every day and been taking my friends and...
Read moreI had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted like it was made with care (Specially Futchka, kacchi biriani, Morog Polao was outstanding). The service was just as impressive — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for good food and...
Read moreAn excellent addition to the growing Buford Bangladeshi food scene. The menu has dishes I haven’t seen elsewhere and the taste & quality felt home made.
The stand outs - mutton Kachhi, kata moshla chicken with lachha porota, bhuna daal and bhortas, kala bhuna.
The service and ambiance was excellent as well. My new favorite spot in 2025, followed...
