An Honest Addams Review I meant to stay in, but something howled in the dreary night to take a look at the menu and stop by. It was frightfully delicious! I began with the Hair of the Moondog, not particularly fond of spicy, but looking forward to a terrific meal, and I wasn't at all disappointed. Brooke greeted me along with David, the creator of this intense meal we're about to get into a story about.
There's a passion in this place that brought me soaking and hungering through the darkness. They call it... The Werewolf. Cajun-seasoned beef, grilled chicken breast, a thick slab of roasted turkey, drizzled in house-made beer cheese and topped with bacon, onion rings, and skinned with brioche bun. I've never laid eyes upon a creature so horribly beautiful and decadent. It howled at me in the night — I couldn't believe how enormous a beast it was — I howled right back, face to face with a match made in heaven. I absolutely wolfed it down.
Patrons gawked and cried as I made love to that monstrously sweet beast, devouring it one half at a time. I'd have shared it, but at the same time it was my first love and I may have forgotten my manners at the table in the moment— I'm sure I growled and might've bit them too, had they come any closer.
I'll have to bring my partner along for this one. The Hair of the Moondog came handy and refreshing for the last half, and I ordered a tap brew of Ghost in the Machine for safe measure. For being a fry lady, I had forgotten they existed. They'd go home with me later. Seasoned fry lovers can request Tahin.
The only detractors I noted are that it was a bit chilly at the bar for an anemic animal such as myself, but I acclimated. Not many humans towards closing, but the ones seated nearby were deep in their own phones; unwilling to have any conversation deeper than surface-level banter, for the bar being a social spot. I could’ve tucked into a corner in the far back, but was just as fine for the rest of the night destroying that werewolf burger in front of gazing onlookers. I flew home comfortably, howling in the night. I'll...
Read moreOverall I think the food needs a lot of work. Here's some constructive feedback so the place can improve. The fried pickles were not very good (including the sauce unfortunately). They didn't have enough breading and the sauce wasn't flavorful. The turkey club was pretty horrible. I'm not even sure how you mess that up but it was extremely bland with essentially no seasoning, sauce, cheese, or anything. even the bread was bad. I could see if it was cheap but the sandwich was $15 and was horrible. I couldn't even finish it. The fries, wings, and onion rings weren't too bad though. I think this place just needs a legit chef and some reworking of the dishes to add seasoning and not just have ketchup, mustard, and mayo that everyone has in the fridge at home and then charge a pretty high price.
Also I'd say they need some more non-alcoholic beverage options. The two options are ok but I wish there were more options. The staff didn't seem to know how to make a mocktail from scratch from example.
Finally there needs to be more low top seating in the main area. They have a kids corner but I'm not sure how any of the kids are going to be able to sit at those tables. It's funny because usually high top tables keep the kids out yet they have a kids corner in the main area? Idk maybe move the kids area somewhere else? And another thought... I hope they clean the kid toys with all the germs going around.
Now if you just want to go and drink alcohol and have some wings and watch the game... yeah it's a great place. But if you actually want to get some decent food I'd look elsewhere.
Personally I prefer Chamblee Tap and Market up the street because the food is just so much better. This place has a lot of potential but the food was just very disappointing and at a price of well over $100 (3 people) for very low quality food I'm probably not going to be rushing back (though I'm sure I'll be back at...

The place's setting is very nice. The terrace has a view to the wooded area in the back and the train tracks, which is a nice view. The restaurant itself is also laid-back and with a nice atmosphere. The employees were nice. The food was okay, not super memorable, but it was good. However, the pricing is odd.
Their menus, the physical ones given to customers at the restaurant and the posted at their website say that the Brunch Burger costs $8. I invited a friend and that's what she ordered. When I paid, as they didn't give me a physical bill beforehand, I blind paid and then asked for the printed receipt. The receipt showed that they charge $18, not $8 for the burger. When I asked for the correction the server simply said that the price on the menu is a mistake and the correct price is $18.
If they already know of this error, then it's about time that they CORRECT it! In summary, I am NOT going back.
Update:
After my original review the owner and manager reached out and clarified that they were unaware of the error on the menu, and quickly rectified the mistake. I very much appreciate the prompt response to take care of this matter, which shows respect to the customer on their behalf. I enjoyed the place, until the situation at the end left an unplesant experience which was later clarified and corrected, so I might give them another visit. No request or approach was made for me to update my review, but just as I posted about the negative, I felt the need to post about...
