I had very high hopes for this place when myself and a friend of mine walked in for lunch yesterday. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese with two sides and my friend ordered the Cajun pasta with lobster and shrimp. My food came out after 25 minutes but my friend who ordered literally 60 seconds before me , had to wait an additional 20 minutes for his food to come out after mine. As I did not wish to be rude and eat in front of my friend I left my food boxed while his was continuing to be prepared. I should note that while we were waiting for his food several other orders were placed and served prior to his food being ready. On top of this the staff didn't offer to get him his drink until he went up and asked for it a full 5 minutes before his food came out. The problem with this restaurant is there trying to be two technical too fast. Ordering is done via tablets mounted as kiosks, But as a result of this method the kitchen has no way to know that the two orders placed 60 seconds apart are for people eating together. Additionally while the front of house staff prepared my drink for me they did this by walking out onto the floor and using the self-service drink dispenser something I could have done 24 minutes before my food was ready so I had a beverage to wait with. As a result of having to wait nearly 20 minutes to eat my food it was warm but no longer hot. Additionally the way the restaurant is ran it feels very much like cost to management is an over concern. When I ordered my fried rice(side #1) I was asked if I wanted "hot sauce X4" or "soy sauce X2" with no explanation What this meant was four no name hot sauce packets and two basic soy sauce(hydrolyzed soy, not naturally brewed) packets. Additionally, there was no black pepper available in the restaurant which the coleslaw (side order#2) ordered desperately needed. Overall if me and my friend had been able to actually get our meals at the same time and enjoy them freshly and together this would have probably been a good lunch, unfortunately that was impossible. I would have to rate this restaurant as a "give it a try in about a month or two" once they've sorted out the various bugs in...
Read moreDigibites in Chamblee, GA, is a hidden gem that masterfully blends Southern comfort with fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the moment you step in, the concept is modern and efficient order at the kiosk, grab your meal from the pickup locker, and you’re good to go. But the real star here is the food.
One standout appetizer is their Fried Green Tomatoes. These aren’t just your average battered slices; they were perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicate, tangy bite inside. The coating was the ideal balance of crunch and seasoning, complementing the tomato’s natural tartness. Paired with a creamy ranch . Each bite I took delivered a satisfying contrast of textures and flavors crunchy, juicy, tangy, and creamy all at once. It’s the kind of appetizer that makes you want to order another round before you’ve even finished the first. The Tomatoes could be sliced thinner but the overall taste is delicious.
For something hearty yet nutritious, the Salmon Bowl with White Rice and Broccoli is a top-tier choice. The salmon was cooked just right. Flaky, tender, and infused with a light seasoning that enhances its natural richness. The white rice was fluffy and the perfect base to soak that delicious teriyaki sauce that come with the dish. But the real surprise is the broccoli steamed to perfection, retaining a slight crunch while soaking up the flavors from the bowl. It’s a simple yet satisfying dish that feels both wholesome and indulgent. 😋😋

Read moreI recently visited Digibites Food Hub in Chamblee with my mother and son, and we were thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the owner/manager greeted us with genuine friendliness and enthusiasm, taking the time to explain the unique concept of the restaurant and its diverse menu offerings.
Ordering was a breeze with their easy-to-use touchscreen pads. The selection was satisfying without being overwhelming, featuring a variety of cuisines like seafood boils, gumbo, pastas, wings, chicken tenders, and desserts. The interior was clean and inviting, with ample seating both inside and outside under umbrella-covered tables.
The food was outstanding—amazingly seasoned and perfectly prepared. Portions were generous for the price, and everything arrived steaming hot and fresh. I had the salmon pasta with lobster sauce, which was phenomenal—not too rich and seasoned just right. My mother enjoyed the gumbo, filled generously with shrimp and sausage; her only minor suggestion was that the roux could be a bit thicker. My son devoured the honey hot wings and couldn't get enough of the freshly made ranch sauce (he practically drank it).
This place is a hidden treasure, especially given its location in the plaza by the Chamblee Walmart. It's a significant improvement over previous restaurants in the area. Digibites offers sit-down restaurant-quality food in a quick-service setting, making it perfect for families—especially when everyone wants something different. We can't wait to return and try...
