Discovered this place while craving Chinese food. Had my favorite combination of Chow Mein and General Tso's chicken, and could not help but come back for it again and again. Found out it was my brother's favorite place to order while he was in college and lived near campus. And we ended up picking food here together when he visited me. What we ordered: -General Tso's chicken -highly recommend -Veg Chow Mein -Egg Rolls -Chicken Mai-Fun - My first time trying it here, and it was exceptionally good, finished that off before any other dishes -Kung Pao Chicken -Chicken with Broccoli -Egg Fried Rice -Spring Rolls - Love them We made a lot of dinners together by getting take-out fro here and we enjoy it every time.

For what this place is, it’s a decent Chinese restaurant. It’s ALL to go. Service is friendly but can be slow at peak times. It’s also open REALLY late, one of the last establishments open on Green Street on any given night. Stick with Fried Rice and Fried Rice only. Ordered the Sesame Chicken during my last visit and it was a bit suspicious… not every piece tasted or looked like chicken. Will be back. Prices are good.

As a truckdriver its hard to grab good down to earth food. Lucky me i was able to drop my trailer and bobtail to Chopstix. I believe they offer doordash if your not so lucky. The fried rice was hot and perfect to taste. Protein portions were on the heavy side. If im in the area again, i will be ordering from here again. Delicious!!!

I ordered delivery on a Sunday evening after getting home right around dinner time. It was just the kids and I so I needed some quick food to be delivered after traveling most of the day. I received a phone call from a Wisconson phone number later on. I couldn't understand all of what the person was trying to say, but I heard "Chinese food open your door". I was really confused because nobody knocked on my door. When I opened the door there was a man at the end of my driveway with the food, as if I was going to meet him down there.

We always order from Chopstix (3 or 4 times a month give or take) because we are a fan of their food. I ordered general chicken and white rice, $10 or $11. Kind of expensive, but the big portions and good taste make it worth it. However, the general chicken was overcooked this time. I couldn't chew it because it was rubbery and hard, kind of like it was overcooked in a microwave. I definitely couldn't serve this to the kids. This was the second time we've received bad food from Chopstix. The first time we just threw the food away because we had other items that could be shared.

I called the restaurant to see if they could send out a fresh order since we couldn't eat the delivered order. The manager said he couldn't send his driver again, but I could come pick up the new order as long as I brought the messed up order. I explained that I have 3 kids and can't get out right at that moment. I asked again for the driver to bring us a fresh order and was denied again. I then asked for a credit for a future order and was denied. I then asked for my money back. The manager said if I wanted my money back I would have to come to the restaurant and bring the bad food.

Let me explain why I went back for my money. Chinese food restaurants are well known to have poor customer service, but normally nobody cares because the food is damn good. My meal was $11. Not a big deal, but I spent $20. There was a $7 delivery charge because I live 6.5 miles away from the restaurant (they deliver up to 8 miles according to their website). I told the driver to keep the $2 as a tip. The manager stated that they are not supposed to deliver where I live. I asked why and he said because it takes his driver 30 minutes to complete the delivery. I asked why he says 8 mile delivery on their website and he completely ignored my question and followed up with 'we have problem with people over there'.

"We have problem with people over there" When I came to the restaurant for my refund, I asked him what he means by this. He said the "people that live in the neighborhood always cause this type of problem." I repeated what he said, and he said "yes, you people don't want to pay". I told him to check his order history under my phone number so he could see I have been a good customer for years, but he just ignored me and asked me to leave.

So because I didn't think it was fair to pay $20 for rubbery garbage, I am causing a problem. As a business owner, you do not judge a person based on where they live. That is not how you treat a customer or anyone for that matter.

We will not order from Chopstix again. I recommend Green Jade as an alternative -Green Jade is always FRIENDY and the food is...

Disappointing Experience: Zero Chicken, Maximum Risk

I regret to say that my recent visit to Chopstix was an absolute disaster. To call it a disappointment would be an understatement; it was a downright disgrace.

Upon ordering the supposedly famous orange chicken, I was astounded to find that there was absolutely no chicken in the dish. Not only was this false advertising at its finest, but it also left me questioning the integrity of their entire menu.

But that's not even the worst part. It has come to my attention, and the attention of many others, that Chopstix has been linked to several cases of foodborne illnesses. This establishment seems to have a knack for turning a blind eye to food safety regulations, putting the health and well-being of its customers at significant risk.

It's utterly appalling that a restaurant of this caliber would be so negligent when it comes to something as fundamental as food safety. It's not just about the lack of chicken in a dish; it's about the blatant disregard for the health and safety of those who choose to dine there.

I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Chopstix to anyone. Not only did they fail to deliver on their promise of a chicken dish, but they also failed to ensure the basic standards of food safety. Save yourself the disappointment and potential health risks; steer clear of this establishment...

The delivery driver called and told me he was here, he was not. He argued with me that my address was in Urbana when it is Champaign. I then tried to give him my actual address, which i had already updated online and he got angry at me an hung up. I then called the actual store and told that guy my address, he said he would call the delivery driver and take care of it. The delivery guy called me another 10 mins later and told me to come outside, he still was not here, and continued to argue with me that i had told him this new address, which is in no way correct. He once again yelled at me "YOU ARE WRONG" over and over and hung up. I then called the store back to tell them i no longer wanted my food, she told me she would call the delivery driver and he would be there, no matter how many times i said "no, i want to cancel my order" she said "i call driver". After 10 minutes of arguing with her on the phone to take the charge off of my credit card and cancel my order, it had been an hour and a half, and her delivery driver had yelled at me TWICE, she then yelled " I CANCEL ORDER" and just hung the phone up on my. I am furious. If this charge is not off of my card tomorrow i will raise hell. Worst, rude, customer service i have ever experienced. If i could give it zero...
