This place seemed so cute coming in, but was quickly disappointed but the staff and their treatment. I asked for a Tiramisu iced latte, she started making a hot one and I quickly corrected her and she got visibly upset and returned my money to charge me 9 whole dollars for an iced tiramisu latte!!!! She got rude and it was completely outrageous!!!! I tasted my drink and I can tell you right now that bullshit wasn’t worth 9 damn dollars! For what? Whole milk?! It was straight chocolate because she was visibly upset that she misunderstood me! I was nice and said I would pay the difference not knowing the difference would be 9 bucks. I can’t even fathom being upset with no one else in line and the customer is willing to pay the difference and apologized for HER MISUNDERSTANDING!!!!! So angry I wasted money on just whole milk with flavoring and was so slighted and disrespected but yet apologized and paid the difference for iced drink that was the same as a hot but with ice added. So the employee working register asked me if I could pay cash even though the card reader looked to be working. I asked him if it was not working and he didn’t answer the question, and he only reiterated If I could pay cash. I could and obliged but the entire interaction felt odd. He did not ask my friend after me the same question, and she paid card no problem.

My other problem is how they made my iced drink. For the regular size, they filled my cup with ice and added the espresso shots. The barista then proceeded to steam milk for an iced drink, and then poured it over the ice. This melted nearly all of the ice and watered the milk down. Overall, I feel as though I paid 7 dollars for one drink to be ripped off. If this is corporate policy, they are overcharging all customers. If it’s just this store, it needs to be rectified—especially when the cashier makes the entire process wholly uncomfortable.

I ordered two large lattes with oat milk and somehow my total came out to $25. Barista was flustered and didn’t understand my order so I didn’t even argue the price after spending several minutes just trying to order. I just wanted my coffee and to get out. Another customer came up in the middle of my transaction and also said she was double charged for one drink but the barista said she was only charged for one drink and blew her off, further discouraging me from trying to get my money back. The barista steamed the milk for our iced drinks, which was unnecessary and just took more time. Drinks came out okay, I’m just not sure what exactly I paid for at $25 when the drinks were listed at around $6. Even accounting for a milk substitute and tax, I’m lost. I was not offered a receipt.
