With indoor dining returning in our part of the state I was excited to be able to go to dinner with my family. On January 24, my wife and I, took her parents out for her mom's birthday dinner. We had already made sure her free birthday burger was available in her rewards account. We showed up and wait staff was extremely friendly. Our server admitted to not knowing the answers to all our questions, but was fast to go get the answers for us. She admitted she just recently started working at Red Robin as well. We ordered 2 mixed drinks, 4 regular drinks, a tower of onion rings, and 4 burgers. Everything was hot, perfectly seasoned, and our server had perfect timing to check in on us and offer refills on drinks and fries. The bartender came over to check on us and make sure we liked our mixed drinks as well. My wife and I paid card and her parents paid cash. The server forgot to add the birthday burger promotion to the bill and my father in law had already paid cash. Our server quickly went to the manager and this was where the restaurant did great by us. My father in law had a bug in his rewards account that didn't remove the expired free birthday burger, and we had shown this to our server and she checked with the general manager and they told us the promotion would error out when applied to the bill because the birth month (October) had passed and the system won't use the promotion outside the month it was issued. We were ok with this and were just curious. When our server came back she gave all of my father in laws money back and told us the ticket was already closed. The general manager decided to comp their bill 100% instead of making us wait around while they reopened it and applied the discount. They comped a $45 bill to take care of guests. Well, needless to say, but our server got a pretty good sized tip when we left.
This location is amazing and I really do suggest going here...
Read moreI ordered a bbq burger, my sister ordered a basic crispy chicken sandwich. After an est 40 or more minutes, MY burger arrives, but not her sandwich. My food is dried out, it doesn’t have the jalapenos or extra SoS I asked for - and the plate is piping hot - I know it had to have sat up in the window for awhile After another 10mins our server returned and we notified her that A: my sister hasn’t received her food yet and that B: Mine is not okay. They took my plate and apologized and said they’d see what’s up.. Another 15 or so goes by, now my sister gets her sandwich, in the exact same condition as my first burger..it was probably the same one that was prepared for her an hour prior -that they just happened to find sitting somewhere and decided to serve it; my burger arrived another 5mins later, it was re-made to expectations, thankfully. Didn’t have time to eat just got a box from the host and paid out. At this point we just wanted to get the heck out of there, waiting any longer for some type of corrective action or management intervention that seemed unimportant to them, because they were semi-busy, would’ve lead us to be later than we already were for a ball game we were attending. Super disappointing experience; failure on all levels of production, won’t be trying that place again.
(Side note: this was Thurs pm 9/22, I thought I posted it - but I just realized it was still a draft. I almost deleted this, bc neg reviews are pointless, but it was a pretty terrible performance by RR...
Read moreLet me just say now before I get any further: NOT WORTH THE PRICE!! Just ordered from here via DoorDash. Got the veggie burger with steak fries and the chicken tenders and fries. Total was $29.38. My veggie burger was really soggy, and for those that don’t know, veggie burgers are not supposed to be soggy. My bun, most likely because of the veggie burger, was soggy as well and fell apart. I asked for all the toppings on the side, what I received was a bunch of dead lettuce, rotten tomato, 8 small pickle slices smaller than a dime, and enough onion slices for five or six burgers. My steak fries were both burned and cold at the same time. Also the garlic aïoli was extremely overpowering, and because they didn’t put a lid on the container when they put it inside my food, it spilled all over the lettuce tomato and onion for my burger. As for the chicken tenders and fries that were ordered, the chicken tenders themselves were actually hot, but there were only four tiny ones, only slightly bigger than a mozzarella cheese stick. The steak fries that came with were mostly edible but Luke warm at best, and there were literally only 9 of them. So $14.39 for four small child size chicken tenders and a couple of fries?? Why is it cheaper on your website, then it is on the DoorDash app??? I could’ve gone to the grocery store and spent less than a quarter of the cost for all the same ingredients, and made it with better quality. Never going to, or ordering from Red...
