McDonald's — Restaurant in Champaign

SO, I usually go here allot bc I live walking distance. so my friend & i went here the other day to pick up some lunch to bring back home with us to eat. I orderd a Grilled Artisian Chicken Sandwhich meal & wanted the sandwhich plain. & every single time my friend who happened to be driving and also ordering tried to even start to saying that I wanted my sandwhich plain , this black girl with a major attitude malfunction who said also when we first pulled up to begin with, that she couldnt hear me talking to order mine . so he ordered for me . so she cuts him off not only the 1st and 2nd time, we tried to order my sandwhich plain but I tried first, she inturupts saying that, " she didn't hear me"so he now is ordering mine & after saying my meal and shake not letting him order his meal repeats to us my meal, not even saying plain about anything, no screen showing the order either, so the after the 3rd time now cutting him off after he is done with his order, at the end tries once more to say mine is plain before saying that yes that is completing his order,she interrupts again 4th time I am telling you all, to tell us to pull to the 1st window so we get up there and try to say that its plain again before anything is said, he literally gets the word "the chick---" out of his mouth and she rudely says YES I KNOW PLAIN PLAIN PLAIN THE CHICKEN SANDWHICH IS PLAIN I KNOW WHAT PLAIN MEANS AND I KNOW WHAT PLAIN IS THE CHICKEN SANDWHICH IS PLAIN NOTHING BUT BREAD AND CHICKEN WHICH WOULD BE PLAIN.. "-_- LIKE WHAT im thinking by now wowwwww ... UM RUDE ! so i say EXCUSE ME MAM', YOUR BEING EXTREMLEY RUDE TO US BY INTERUPPTING ANYTHING WE TRY SAYING TO YOU BC I JUST WANT MY ORDER RIGHT SO I DONT HAVE TO COME BACK.AND ITS SO UN CALLED FOR" AND SHE INTERUPTS US AGAIN!!!!! AND SAYS" MMM K WHATEVER THO IT DOESNT MATTER PLZ PULL FORWARD TO THE 2ND WINDOW" and closed her window and starts taking another order !!!! WHAT THE HELL?! SHE DOES NOT DESERVE THAT JOB ACTING LIKE THAT TO PPL ORDERING YOU DO NOT KNOW US NOR WHAT WE ARE GOING TO SAY AND ORDER . HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT WASNT ALL WE WERER GOING TO HAVE PLAIN, anyways it was plain when I got home and very good , but why piss off a customer like that to that extent for no reason?!!! insane , never wrote one of these before but I could not...

I ordered a meal and another sandwich with a medium fry. I paid for my order and get asked if I'd like the receipt (I said no thanks). I pull up to get my order and get asked if I had a medium fry I said "yes, I have 2 one with my meal and another to go with the sandwich". The employee behind the girl in drive thru (which I believe is the manager on duty 7/22 at 9pm hour) proceeds to tell me I need to pay for a medium fry. I let her know I ordered 2 and as far as I know I have paid for it already. The employee tells at me that she can't just give me a free fry it's not on my order and she can ring me up for a fry. I let her know i declined my receipt so I don't have it but it was repeated back to me at the window that I ordered it right before I handed my card to the employee in drive. This woman proceeded to yell at me no you didn't have the fry on the order and she didn't hear it repeated because she doesn't have a head set on. She continued to yell at me all across the store thru the drive thru window. I asked at that time for a manager she went toward the back of the store while the girl and guy by the window apologized and said she has been cranky all day and they are sorry. I asked the girl to speak with the manager on duty and was told there wasn't one. I said okay that doesn't seem right but okay what is that employee's name then. She said she wasn't sure she was new. I at that time asked if I was going to be able to get the tea that I ordered with my meal at least?? Horrible service by this woman. She needs to not be anywhere near customers! I stated that there is no need to be yelling at me . Why did the girl at the delivery window ask if I had 2 fries when I pulled up to the window (instead of just handing me my order) if the woman behind her was going to deny I paid for 2 anyways? I could've paid for another but after immediately getting yelled at like I did something wrong for stating I had ordered 2 fries not 1 it's not happening. The girl and guy who stated the woman has been cranky all day were fine in their customer service. I rather not return after that experience all while in front of my child. He even stated as we were leaving that they repeated our order with 2 fries. Lessons that our children learn how not to treat people while at work or any other time for...

Updated review. Today 10/9/23 My kids and I stopped in for lunch. To say we all were extremely disappointed would be an understatement. We ordered at the kiosk and when they called my order I tasted a single fry and it was cold. Stale and cold. I asked for fresh fries and pointed out these were cold. The workers appeared annoyed with my request and finally said it would be 4 min for new ones. I said I was fine with waiting. I took the other food back to my table and when I opened my quarter pounder, it was obvious by the zero melt on the cheese that the burger was also cold. I touched it to confirm, and yes it was room temperature at best. I brought it back to the counter to ask for a new one and the worker stuck his finger in the burger to confirm it wasn’t warm and said “it’s not that cold”. I let him know regardless I would not eat the burger he had just fingered. 4 minutes later they gave me my new food and not only were the fries still not hot, they were undercooked. My 2nd quarter pounder was just as Luke warm as the first and 2 bites in, I realized it was still pink inside. Disgusted and frustrated I threw the food out and we went next door to Taco Bell instead. Lunch was awful, but they did better on the opening day for breakfast. I won’t be back for lunch. The play area was a mess and the 45 min we were their not a single worker came in the clean.

Just visited the brand new McDonald’s this morning. The interior is small but very nice. They have a large play area that I saw kids enjoying. We ordered our breakfast at the kiosk and it was user friendly. Our breakfast was cooked perfectly and we are happy McDonald’s...
