UPDATED REVIEW:
I am ABSOLUTELY applaud by the unprofessionalism of the "Owner". I was emailed basically telling me I was in the wrong and did not handle this situation like a customer should have (i.e. calling her as soon as it happened- even though I stated in my review that I had to go to work and was unable to call. I was lucky to even get a review done without getting in trouble for texting while at work!). She stated- SHE being Amy Black- that she would only refund $5 of my $34 order because of the fact that I did not handle the situation correctly, nor did I understand how horrible my reviews look on her business. I apologized (even though I shouldn't have to) and stated that as a customer I was only providing a honest review. She claimed to say that I bashed her company across several social media platforms (I only put a review on Google and Facebook- matching reviews). I not once bashed her company, I simply stated that I was displeased with the service. On top of that, she took the time to explain that as a makeup artist (because she apparently looked into my Facebook-I'm assuming) how would I take care of a customer if they did this to me. I told her, if my customers were EVER not happy with the service and left a review, they would be contacted immediately regardless if they left a review, called, or emailed. Not A WEEK LATER (which i was scolded for as I didn't give her the time to respond... Um WHAT? I left a review, I didn't realize there was a specific process for this!!) I also stated that I would FULLY REFUND my dissatisfied customer because that's the professional thing to do. She, this entire conversation, implied that I was dumb (apparently I didn't understand the email she sent me so she called right away so I would understand it- Oh the whole email is below BTW), impatient (I didn't give her a week to respond- Its a review, I did one review on Google and immediately another one on Facebook as not everyone uses google for reviews), reckless (I'm bashing her business and a horrible customer), and was wrong (her company may have made me wait, gave me RAW pizza after a 30-35 MINUTE wait- not 15 like she put in her email, and was not given the extra toppings I paid for- but that's not her fault). I HIGHLY advise that you do no business with a company that treats their customers so poorly. Its an unbelievable shame as well because this USE TO BE my favorite Pizzeria. I will be actively searching for a new Pizzaria!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'm SO unbelievably disappointed. My mother and I use to go to the Mesa location and it was AMAZING! Having just moved back to Arizona, I had talked about your pizza to my husband, who has never been to AZ, and was so excited to bring him to the tastiest pizza joint Ive ever been to. We decided to go to the Chandler location because it was close to our work and we could sit and enjoy our dinner before work... There was only 2 gebtlemen in there waiting for food. So we ordered 2 slices to eat here and 2 to go. I ordered a slice with extra extra artichoke and spinach and my husband ordered a slice with bacon and pineapple on it... We waited 30 MINUTES. Whats worse... About 5-10 minutes after we ordered ONE of our slices was put into a box and left in the warming case... The rest didnt come out until we told them we HAD to leave to get to work, we couldn't wait anymore. They boxed the rest of our pizza and we left... Not only did i NOT get extra anything when i paid for it but we paid $34 for 4 slices that still had RAW dough in the middle. I couldnt go back and cant call because I have to go to work now but we ended up throwing them away. So so very disappointed. Such a let down. They werent even...
Read moreI have never had such a negative experience with a food chain until I got in touch with Jimmy & Joe's Pizzeria, and from the looks of it I'm not the only one. I, along with many others, attempted to order pizza and were met with a highly unprofessional and quite rude representative on the phone who was dismissive and hung up on us when asking only simple questions. We attempted to contact again and were again shut down. From there we went to contact the company directly and were met with someone who actually tried to help! This was a nice change and, almost, changed my opinion on this establishment, that was until today. The representative, who will remain unnamed, gave us her personal line to take a credit to have a more positive experience. However this wasn't done to remedy our past experience and was only done with the intent of removing our negative reviews. This was discovered when we attempted to use the credit and were met with immediate push back. The contact was out of town and stated that the credit could be used tomorrow. As we were hungry, we simply asked if the credit could be applied today. Nothing aggressive was sent. No foul language was used. Just a simple, why not today, we were hoping to use it today. Nothing out of the question in my eyes, maybe I'm crazy. That's when this representative responded in probably one of the most unprofessional ways I have ever seen. She called us a bully, said we "needed a lot of prayer" and then stated we will remove the credit. Mind you, the credit was given so we could have a positive experience and be able to put positive review. All this for some pizza. I honestly am pretty shocked that a company as a whole could be so unprofessional. Especially when this was supposed to fix a previous experience. I would recommend even getting gas station pizza over this place just on...
Read moreOne of the few times I have reviewed a place. J&J blew me away for all the wrong reasons I am afraid.. I called to place an order and was greeted by a very rude woman who was either incapable of answering, or simply did not care enough to answer my very basic questions, for a first time customer (how many people can I expect a Large feed, are the wings deep-fried or baked, expected delivery time to my office with cross-streets). Becoming shorter and ruder with every word. When I asked politely if I may speak with someone else, who might have that answer I was put on hold for 5 minuets and was greeted by another woman ( I want to say Amy?). An alleged manger. When I mentioned the customer service I received I was apologized to, my questions were answered (finally) and was offered a credit for my next meal. So distasted the service at that time, I decided to take the credit and attempt to try again on another day. Within five business days I attempted to use the credit I was given. Much to my surprise, there was none! Which tells me this alleged manager was happy to lie to me to shut me up and had 0 faith in their product and service enough to uphold a simple credit in good faith. At this point I had all but given up with this place. But, I wanted to see if the service was a cloak for the best pizza in the Valley, or another shop that pops up, slaps some Ragu and spice on a 2 day ol lump of flower and water and toasts it. Which much to the dismay of my wallet seeing as how I should have been payed to eat there... It was closer to the latter than I would like to admit. How they have two locations...
