Was Craving Mexican food so we decided on this place since its located only a few minutes from home, Boy was that a mistake. I got home and my nachos had nothing on them. Of course before I called we checked all containers to make sure my Nacho toppings weren't in there, Nope, I call the store and stated the issue to "Robert" the manager , instead of apologizing immediately he put me on hold and came back and said the cook and young lady that bagged it said it's in there. He proceeds with 'I'm not saying you're lying, but'...In my head I'm like there is no way this man thinks I would call and lie about not having guacamole and sour cream. WTH.. he then said he would credit me for the side I didn't get next time I come in. I offered to come back this moment because. How am I to enjoy this weekend meal without toppings??? He advised they closed at 9.. I reiterated because I'm flustered at this point and again, without apology he offered the same answer and I asked if he would be there Sunday so I could come speak to him, he Said no, I asked will there be another manager, he said he is the only one for the store period. "HMMM" . I find that a bit suspicious but none the less, I get off the phone to proceed to eat my Meat and Cheese nachos. Eventually Taco bell saved the day and we drove to an open one to get my sides of guacamole and sour cream 😋. All in all, Robert's accusatory attitude is what ruined the meal for me. The food wasn't bad at all, just came with a side of attitude that I wasn't interested in.

To give a quick background of the reviewer. I was born and raised in Arizona. Had moved to North fuq Dakota for 3 years. The "Mexican food" there is as neon pasty white as you can get. They call enchilada sauce "gravy"... Last I checked, gravy belongs on biscuits with a side of grits. NOT ON a burrito. So to say the least eating this abomination in hopes to fill the junkie like void that is burrito cravings, is like going to Saudi Arabia and trying to find a good pork BBQ joint. It's just not going to happen... So not having real Mexican food for a couple years I find myself back in AZ for an unfortunate situation.. Back to the point you want to hear ( read). I ordered the Gecko. Asked them to "make it nasty" and by that. I mean make it large enough to feed Trump's greed. Meat, beans, guac, wrapped up a cloud soft tortilla but not so soft that it doesn't have texture, then covered in a magically delicious green chili queso sauce. I mean this burrito was mathematically perfected by Stephen Hawkins, cooked by Aaron Sanchez, then approved by Gordon Ramsey.

This was my first time at Moreno’s Mexican Grill, and my wife selected this location for lunch before our movie. Her mother joined us and I found the food to be hot and miss but mostly good. The chips and salsa were good, the chips were crisp and seemed fresh. The salsas were varied and I liked the regular one the best but they give you a tomatillo one that was a bit sweet and some been dip as well. I ordered the tamale, cheese enchilada combo with rice and beans. The rice and beans were good and I enjoyed them. The tamale was tasty but a bit overly dry. The cheese enchilada was tasty and had a lot of cheese. My wife got the cheese enchilada and taco combo also with rice and beans. She said her taco was very good and she liked the enchilada as well. My mother in law had just a taco and she enjoyed it. I would definitely come back agin and give them another try.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Moreno’s Mexican restaurant, and I have to say—it was an unforgettable experience thanks to Julianna. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcomed and genuinely appreciated. Julianna isn’t just a great server—she’s the kind of person who brings warmth, personality, and heart into everything she does.

Throughout the evening, Julianna went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her timing was flawless, her recommendations were spot-on, and she handled every request with a smile that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. What really stood out, though, was how she connected with us—not just on a surface level, but in a way that felt deeply personal. She was authentic, expressive, and showed a kind of emotional intelligence you rarely find in a busy restaurant environment.

It felt like she wasn’t just serving food—she was sharing a piece of herself, and in doing so, helped us reconnect with each other in a meaningful way. She brought joy, laughter, and sincerity to the table, and truly made my birthday something I’ll remember for a long time.

If you’re looking for more than just good food—if you want a dining experience that feels personal, warm, and memorable—then I can’t recommend this place enough. And if you’re lucky enough to be seated in Julianna’s section, get ready for one of the best service experiences...

This is a go-to spot for lots of folks in the area. Friendly staff, typical/reasonable prices, delicious fajitas, pollo fundido, and chile relleno. Can't say I've really ventured out of those items but they are good and keep me coming back. Service is always quick, quality is good, the chicken is white meat, shrimp is good and not fishy, and the green salsa is the best. Fresh chips and salsa with your meal and generally meals come with refried beans and yummy spanish rice. It is American Mexican food but definitely hits the spot. We usually eat in the restaurant but there is always tons of take out and delivery happening when I dine here. Also the horchata is good and they offer a variety of fresca in addition to soda and bottled beer or margaritas. Cozy and clean atmosphere and they go all out on their decorations for the holidays. We've seen large parties here, they do have booths in addition to tables that can be pulled together for larger parties, however the place is not big enough to handle multiple large parties so consider going during non peak times if you have a larger party. I hope this place never changes, it's a staple for us where we dine here probably at least...
