Food quality: 3/5 Location: 4/5 Establishment: 2/5 Service:0/5
*Overall: 9/20
Horrible service and not worth the price of the food. First off, I have given this place a second chance after my first experience back in 2016.
The food is pretty good, the wings are tasty but slightly undercooked. Pepperoni Pizza is soggy and had too much garlic that sat in my tastebuds for the rest of the day (when I actually had a chance to eat the pizza)
The location is excellent and easy to get to with great parking right near shopping centers.
The establishment is cute, TVs played sports, had a cute little bar set up and NY decor. Restroom was not up to par and tables/countertops were dirty.
Service is awful, I say this as an experienced manager of retail and service for over 12 years- customer obsession is my passion. Clearly this establishment falls short of proper training and the lack of accountability is obvious.
The first time we visited the establishment, my family and I went to eat in, ordered large pepperoni, 12 Traditional Upstate Wings. We walked into the restaurant at 8:05pm ordered at 8:15pm, and received our drinks around 8:20pm. We had not been visted by our server for the remainder of tl our visit, then I had to walk to the counter and ask for refills after 40 minutes of waiting. We had seen two other parties enter, order and receive our food. We finally were able to see our server +after 1 hour and 10 minutes) and she had informed us that our order had not been put in and had asked if we had wanted to order them and there. We had decided to leave without eating.
The most recent situation we ordered food for $65.75 a large pepperoni pizza and 3 orders of upstate traditional wings, we received our order 2 hours later and the pizza was smashed as if it had been dropped. Unfortunately, I had to leave my home to go to the establishment and ask for a refund.
I had given this place a second chance to redeem but they continue to provide poor service. I will no longer be spending my money on...
Read moreWhen we walked in they let us know ahead of time that it was going to take about 45 min to get food. We were okay with that and sat down. We put in our order at 6:04. We ordered an appetizer and got that about 10-15 min later, so not too bad....then we wait ...and wait...and wait. Three tables that came in at least 15 to 20 minutes after us all got their food. There we're two tables that had four people just like us, one had six and still they had their food before us. We ordered a medium pizza and two kids slices. The other tables all had two pizzas the same size as us and one had ordered salads as well. Our server came out to us at around 7 telling us that he saw our pizza go in the oven so it should be out shortly. This was already past the 45-minutes that we were told, but still we were being patient. After we saw three tables get food that came in after we did we started to become annoyed. I mean at least bring the kids slices....our server then came back and told us that he wasn't sure what happened to our pizza and I mentioned the other tables getting their food and kinda got an apology/shoulder shrug as an answer. He then came back again and told us "out of the managers mouth, 2 minutes". The kids slices finally came out...10 minutes after our 2 min promise, we got our pizza.90 MINUTES after we placed our order...... But we had ordered ranches when we placed our order and still didn't receive those, so again we had to wait. I don't mind waiting for food and don't even really mind we were told 45 min and then didn't even leave until after 8...I was more annoyed that other tables were getting theirs before us, with no explanation, and the delivery guys were coming and going with pizzas over and over again. No manager ever came to say anything.... We also had to ask our server to remind him that the kids got ice cream with their meals.... Otherwise he never would have mentioned it....an annoying experience to...
Read moreExtremely disappointed in my latest visit. To start off, we have been to this location 20+ times in the last 3 years and kept coming back because the service and food were great. However, this last experience completed destroyed all confidence I had in this place. When we get there, we get seated immediately but it takes 10 minutes for the sever to even get to us. A bit annoying but, okay whatever.
We order our food and I specifically say pepperoni and sausage. The lady comes back with a pepperoni and onion pizza. I’m like this is not the right order. She says you’re right and takes it back. She proceeds to bring back the same pizza with the onions removed and sausage thrown on top like excuse me? You’re charging $20+ per pizza and you can’t remake the damn pizza!? What if I’m allergic to a topping they accidentally placed on there? You have to remake the pizza!!! They really tried to swindle us instead of making it right. I found a small piece of onion on one of the slices.
Another thing is the waitress was not good at all. 10 minutes in between each interaction. 10 minutes to get us a box. 10 minutes after we get the check to come grab payment type. What is that about? There were like 2 other tables at the restaurant. They need to be quicker than that.
The only good thing is the manager agreed to not charge us for the pizza. Overall, we are not going back and you shouldn’t either. They will not own up to their mistakes and try to ‘finesse’ you, for lack of better words. All faith is lost on my end and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Thanks NYPD it’s been real. 7 years of calling this my favorite pizzeria gone...
