First of all I would like to let anyone know, if you have a Groupon, be sure to screenshot the redemption code. They have no Wi-Fi. We met my cousin and his wife at this location. Due to the good reviews about this location. Not so with our experience. We ordered our drinks. I ordered a tall( in a beer glass) vodka Red Bull. The waitress said they didn’t carry that. Then another staff member corrected her. My cocktail was served to me in a different glass than I requested. She bought out cold bread. One for the 4 of us. Then we ordered our appetizer. I paid extra for the wagon wheel. This was also served cold and greasy. As shown in the picture I will attach. So was my cousins potato skins. Then once our meals were served, my husbands ribs were dried out and cold, his chicken was served the same way. My filet minion was over salty . Servers lukewarm. The broccoli was cold. Needless to say, it wasn’t a good experience. I was finally able to pull up my Groupon using my cousin’s phone. Then get this! I have to walk over to the register with her and read her the redemption code. Wow. As her tip reflected her in ability to make sure that our food was good and the drinks. Needless to say, since we had a bad experience, we are not able to recommend this location. My cousins meal was also served cold and over salty. Since he doesn’t like to complain or confront people, I just paid for the food at the restaurant . When I approached the manager about the app not working he only offered a 30.00 discount even though the bartender witnessed the Groupon. Thank God my cousins phone worked. Please fix this issue. So others don’t have a bad experience like we did. Up date I am still waiting for the GM from this location to contact me per the email I received from customer relations for Black Angus . As of October 1St no one has responded to me. UPDATE…. I am waiting for a response from headquarters regarding this.? Why was I only compensated for two steaks. My filet mignon and the bbq chicken and ribs cost more than 35.00 plus what about the wagon wheel upgrade. Still very upset. Please add my account the appropriate compensation....
Read moreSpent almost $200 for my family to enjoy a Friday evening meal that I didn't feel like cooking. I should've left when the hostess acted as if seating my family was a major inconvenience for her, but we've been to the restaurant before and have had pleasant experiences, so I shrugged it off. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. However, I voiced a concern regarding my alcoholic drink have zero alcohol, despite stirring my drink fervently and "giving it a second". After a few sips and giving it some time, it was clear that the drink was just juice. The waitress left after I voiced my concern and returned after several minutes to report that "the manager said that he made your drink HIMSELF and it's just the flavors of the juice blending together", as if he's completely incapable of making a mistake. Meanwhile, the drink that my husband ordered was extremely strong. By the way, most adults know full well what juice tastes like. Instead of coming and addressing the concern himself, he allegedly sent the waitress to come and let us know that he made the drink "himself". She offered a shot on the side. I declined because by this time I was annoyed. And I'm certain they would've put it on the bill. Maybe she lied and blamed it on him. Either way, I spent way too much money on a cup of juice.
Yes, this review is about my drink NOT having liquor in it. Between the hostess and the manager, I regret stepping foot in this establishment. I wasn't trying to get a free drink - I just wanted the drink that I ordered to be correct. Won't be back.
If you care, the food was decent. Regular steakhouse food, nothing spectacular. I had the 8 oz salmon, broccoli and garden salad. Hubby got ribeye with asparagus. Again, I'd take the food and the waitress's pleasant disposition. Hostess and...
Read moreI have been going to Black Angus in Chandler for years and this is the first time I feel compelled to leave a review. I understand not being able to be seated until the other person arrives but when the other person did arrive the hostess ignored us while she was sorting menus. She did not acknowledge us and when we spoke up that we would like a table for 2 she said "I knowww." Really?? The people behind us thought it was rude too! Benefit of the doubt ok maybe she was having a bad day. I work in customer service also and this is not how to treat customers.
I had the BOGO coupon and it was not honored the way it should have been and not clear how it works. The small print mentions the surf and turf and campfire feast. But the waitress said the campfire feast is not a part of the choices. That we can choose up to $35 and the lesser meal is the one we will get the credit for. We both got the surf and turf. My friend only got the turf part since the lobster was not available. Okay fine. And the food was delicious! A+ for food and waitress was very pleasant.
The checks arrived and we split the checks and we each paid roughly $40 each including tips, beverage, and 2 upgrades. We each got a $10 credit on our bill which I do not understand because our dinners were around the $35 not $20. We just paid and left but it has been bothering me ever since and I can say I will never come back to Black Angus because its so petty and nickle-diming. Why bother offering coupons!! I will be unsubscribing from your emails. Thank you for good service, food and honoring coupons correctly in the past. I was so embarrassed because I lead my friend to believe this was a BOGO but...
