DO NOT have anything shipped to this store for pickup! Made the mistake of having 3 items, worth almost $800, shipped to this store from the main Nordstroms in Scottsdale. Thought it would make picking up easier than heading in the trying to buy the in stock items. Purchase was easy and it said items would be available the next day at the Nordstrom’s Rack in chandler. One of three items became available first thing the next morning. But the other two never updated at available. Called corporate and they advised the items were delivered according to the tracking they had available. Transferred me to the store where I was advised they definitely didn’t have the items. Fair enough you or your shipping vendor misplaced them, so please refund me! Seemed easy enough, but no! Apparently if they lose your item, can find it, etc they can’t refund you until the item arrives. Haha well the be sir says they remover sir to you and you say no so it’s likely lost. Does that mean I don’t get a refund even though you won’t or use the product? According to their staff yes. Although one person indicated that after some undisclosed period of time I may be refunded if it never shows up. You want to speak to their manager, Kyle? Nope he tells his staff they aren’t allowed to provide his email or any contact info. Well, that’s what his staff says anyways. But I can try and get a hold of him during weekdays. Suppose I was just fortunate that they called me after hours of trying to figure this out to tell me that they actually found the other two items in the back room and they just misplaced them and forgot to check them in. Haha of course. Happy you could resolve it, but I will never order online again because had they not found the items they were resolute that I couldn’t be refunded despite what ended up being clearly...
Read moreI'm a very reasonable person. I went into return some shoes that my wife wore from my parking space to her office and had on her feet for less than an hour. The shoes were horrible. They hurt her feet so bad that she never got up and left her seat until she went back to the car to get her boots. I waited in line for a short time and went up to the counter and let the lady know that I was making a return. She looked at the bottom of the shoes that had no damage on them but were dusty and the shoes still had all the stickers on them with no scuffs or damage even to the bottoms and turned the receipt around circled where it said unworn and unaltered then said, "you wore these shoes. You can't return them." I looked at her and very calmly said OK thank you. Then I walked out of the store. I want to once again thank her and I think her bosses should thank her as well for losing my business over $30 worth of shoes even though I've spent probably hundreds or possibly even thousands of dollars at their store. Customer service isn't dead, it's just not at this store. Employees represent the company. Some people forget. Between this experience and them trying to strong arm my wife into giving them her email address 4 times at one visit to the register I think they should seriously consider mystery shops here to see how people really get treated by some of their employees. Meantime, I understand this is a discount store but it doesn't mean we're second class. We still work hard for our money and choose to give you the business. Without your "frugal" customers there...
Read moreThe store associate asked me to put a mask on when I was walking in. First of all, the mandate in Arizona has been lifted so they shouldn’t be requiring a mask to shop anyway. However, since I was asked I put one on. Before I could even finish I was rudely told it had to be over my nose which I was going to do anyway. After she was so rude about it though I slipped it off my nose and she literally followed me around the store to tell me to put it on over my nose. Instead I walked out and will now never shop here again. The staff at Nordstrom is know for being super friendly and having excellent customer service but unfortunately that’s no longer the case. They care more about people wearing masks that don’t actually protect them than making sure their staff members are friendly and welcoming. I would give them 0 stars if it...
