I am totally disgusted with this establishment... Not only do I frequent your establishment quiet often but all of the employees at my job does as well because of its conveince and location..But I can assure you that this will be ending very soon.. I purchased a falafel wrap with French Fries and it was horrible, you can taste the filthiness of the grease so much that you can taste the chicken etc. That have been fried in this grease. Once I bit into it and swallowed it I immediately threw up... When I called the restaurant to speak with someone in regards to this matter a female answered the phone when I began to explain to her what happened she said, that she was sorry their was no one that I can talk to about this and that there was nothing that she could do about that.. And hung up on me. When I called back and asked her for her name so that I can contact the owners. She said that she wasn't able to give me her name because I was only ordering food. It has nothing to do with her.. And hung up again. This is not only a disgrace to be inside of the community treating people with so much disdain and disrespect when we are the ones thats pay the bills for this restaurant to exist. And we are citizens of this community. This is a direct reflection of management and must be dealt with. I am starting a petition as of rn. Against this conduct and what I believe to be racial...
Read moreGood gyros with thin slices of white onion and half-moon slices of tomato. The tzatziki sauce was fine, but could use more garlic and cucumber. The combo #1 came with fries and a fountain drink. Generous portion of fries that were hot and crisp. They’re only open from 11:00am to 3:00pm Mon-Sat/Closed on Sundays. When I came in 20 minutes before closing they made it to go. I had to eat my lunch outside. About five minutes to closing I wanted a refill, but they locked the doors. The lady was kind enough to let me back in. Still, not very welcoming. I don’t understand that. It’s their business. If you’re thinking of eating here keep that in mind. I know I won’t come here unless it’s early enough to sit down and enjoy my lunch. Come the summer months that’s going to be hard...
Read moreOkay, still trying to find a real, honest Chicago-style gyro. While not "it," this is one of the closest I've found out here so far. Tzatziki sauce was good, just a little too herby for me. Meat was cooked & sliced well, decent amount on the sandwich. I would have preferred it a bit weller done, but I should have asked for that. And the pita? Perfect - soft & chewy, nice flavor. Served traditionally with tomatoes & onions. I'll definitely go back, have to try their take on an Italian beef sandwich. If they can do it like Johnnie's, I'll be a...
