Queen's Bowl Chinese Food — Restaurant in Chandler

Saw this place online last weekend. What caught my eye was that they made one of my favorites... Chinese Sausage Fried Rice! I was told by my waitress that the place is under new ownership & management. When I first walked in, I was impressed how simple the place is... new looking tables & chairs... nice clean flooring and surroundings... good vibes! Egg Foo Young was freshly made and smothered with big slices of BBQ Pork & tons of fresh veggies. Chinese Sausage Fried Food was just what I had been looking for. Honey Walnut Shrimp was awesome. Got take-out to go too. Pan Fried Pork Dumplings for my wife... she ate them up with the slaw they were presented on & the delicious dipping sauce. Deep Fried Pork Dumplings for my step-son... he thought those were the best he has eaten. We'll venture out again but as a family this time!

10/27/22 - Love this family owned place... father (the chef), mother, daughter & son. I'm one that tries out everything on the menu. The daughter (the waitress) answered any menu questions. Told her I like 'salt & pepper' type dishes... prompted her to ask her dad what is best... he said the Salt & Pepper Calamari. OMG! It was superb... beautiful dish... batter was so tasty & crunchy... topped w/ garlic, diced green & red peppers, onions & jalapeños... I couldn't stop eating it! The Beef Chow Fun was...

I surprised myself today because I picked up the name of Queen's Bowl restaurant from a list of names of which I had no previous information or ideas. However, I learned when I arrived there that Queen's Bowl is a Chinese restaurant. The lady who was taking the orders told me that the picture of the crown on the menu is a Queen's Crown and the Chinese letters on the crown indicate that too. The restaurant is open from 11 am to 9:30 pm and their menu includes appetizers, soup, entrees, rice and noodles and vegetarian dishes plus lunch specials. They deliver within the area around the restaurant and they also do catering. Beverages are soft drinks and tea. I ordered the crispy fried chicken dish but when I got it they had already added some kind of sauce over it which had changed the crispy nature of the chicken. Service was kind and the restaurant has the conveniences needed for those who use wheel chair in relation to parking, entrance, seating and use...

Just ate there for the first time ever. I ordered the house chicken with an egg roll with an order of crab puffs. Its the worst food ever. The chicken was extremely over cooked and dry. So much that when I tried to grab a piece with my plastic fork, all the tines went in all different directions. Pretty sure I have given my dogs chicken jerky treats that were softer than that chicken. The egg roll tasked like it was submersed in a dirty fish tank for about a month. The crab puff were the only thing that was eatable....and that was just because it wasn't "as bad" as the rest. I ended up throwing almost all of it away and got a snickers bar and a slim jim from the nearby convenience store. The inside of the restaurant was filthy...I was just hoping that would mean the food was going to be "authentic"....nope...i don't think the floors seen a mop in over a month. My co-worker ordered the same thing but with lowmein.....he described it as tasting like...
