I think all of my prior google reviews have been positive. My experience today at this McDonalds, however, was not good.
Yesterday I went through the drive through and ordered a cheeseburger with onions only. After picking it up and driving a few miles, I saw that is was a cheeseburger with ketchup only. Everyone has their own tastes, but for me this was Yuck!
Today I went inside with my receipt and explained what had happened. I asked if they could make it right and give me a cheeseburger with onions only. Here's what I got:
Cheeseburger #1: Ketchup and a pickle only. I politely requested to get what I ordered.
Cheeseburger #2: Plain cheeseburger. I sent it back. I also sensed that I was annoying the lead person.
Cheeseburger #3: Onions only, but no cheese. Yikes, really?! I send it back and sense that the person helping me is really ready for me to leave.
Cheeseburger #4: This was Cheeseburger #3 with a slice of cheese added. It was cold.
I left and ate my sad cold cheeseburger with onions only. It was okay. I generally really enjoy McDonald's.
I'm stunned by the number of mistakes made, and the vibe that I was making things difficult for the workers. There were a few cursory apologies, but the subtext was clearly, "can you leave now?"
Again, I enjoy McDonald's and will go back to this location, but my expectations will be adjusted per this experience. And I will always double-check my food before leaving the store.

Read moreI don't understand how this McDonald's can consistently deliver the worst customer service. I don't expect much out of McDonald's anyway.....but I drive up to the window and: 1. At 2 pm, sit there for 10 min with no one even acknowledging my prescence (meanwhile I see multiple cars doing the same thing and just leaving because of no service)2. Come an hour before close and get a greeting at the speaker. I then place my order....and then silence. No service. After 20 min I give up. Two other customers do the same. 3. When I do express my frustration and concerns, I get a blank stare from the employee, and then a request to take my order. I mean seriously, what's going on at this place? I won't be going back to Chanhassen McDonald's after FOUR of these types of experiences within the last 3 months or so. I'm also going to be contacting the district manager to see if they care... beause the employees I spoke with give me the impression that they could care less. Did Zombies take over this place? Oh yeah....and the food.....well when I have actually gotten some here, lately has been almost unedible (again I don't expect much from McDonald's...but it's just.....BAD)
Looking at the reviews this place has a big big problem. Personnel changes are likely long overdue.

Again, nothing wrong with that either until they screw up your order every single time you go there. I have never once had an order that was correct. Also, when you tell them your missing something they tend to argue with you. On one particular order I ordered a kids meal with apple juice and honey mustard sauce, a chicken nugget meal, and two breakfast sandwiches, and a soda. The worker asked what size soda I wanted and stated they are all $1 (I said medium was fine). When the order came out, it was missing the fries from the chicken nugget meal, honey instead of honey mustard sauce, chocolate milk instead of apple juice. And when I said I was also missing the soda she said I didn't order one. I said, "you don't remember telling me the sizes were all $1 and I said medium?". She looked at me like a deer in headlights. Each time I said I was missing something or had the wrong item she made it seem like I ordered wrong and fought with me. Again, this is not just a one time incident.
