First experience was awful. I will say that the girl was in training but if that is the case, dont have her start on live customers. She basically mashed the sandwich into a bag and handed it to me. I politely asked the young (more experienced) boy behind the counter for a new sandwich since this one was destroyed. Waited a couple weeks and thought to try again since chipotle was packed. Girlfriend went in this time and after about 15 minutes, I get a text saying "never again". Apparently the shift manager there thought her needs came before the customers. She was a larger person, ordering around 10 sandwiches for herself. She pushed her way and made the staff there make her things while my GF waited in line. GF started ordering and was interrupted by the shift manager again since she wanted some soup, just cut her right off and barged in. Absolutely unacceptable to treat a paying customer in this way. GF asked to see a manager, the kid responded "oh that was her, she just left". I tried this location twice, they fell flat on their face both times. The general manager needs to take action here or they wont be open for long. I will NEVER return to this location and I will make sure any and all people who I speak with know the same. I highly, HIGHLY recommend you take the extra 10 minute drive and go to the Minnetonka location as they treat you with respect and value your hard...
Read moreBeen here three times now. Twice we came in within 30 minutes of closing time (got there at 8:35 and they close at 9). They already had put most things away for the night! No soup, no pickles, no cookies/desserts, and no iced tea. When I commented that they weren't closed yet and shouldn't have their inventory put away for the night, the gal behind the counter snapped that we shouldn't come in right before closing! It was at LEAST 20 minutes before closing both of those times. There is no reason for this except them scrambling to get out of there right at 9 o'clock. The other time we were there during the daytime, they overcharged us and then acted like it was a HUGE deal to refund us the overcharge. Just not happy overall. Love Potbelly, but I'll stick to the Eden...
Read moreWhat a disappointing visit to one of my favorite sandwich shops. The lady behind the counter (longer blond/brown hair) is loud and a bit aggressive. She assumes you’ve been to the restaurant before and know “the flow” of ordering. I observed this twice- once with my mom’s order, and again as she asked a question, spoke over me as I responded, to boss her co-worker around. I didn’t know who I was to respond to. Seriously, Pot Belly? You can and have done better. Your customer service with that particular worker is poor. Even the customer behind me shook his head in disbelief.
I’m glad I’m only passing...
