Hubby & I went here for date night. We are doing the A-Z Date night challenge, every week a new letter and this week it’s letter “T”. So before heading to various tinsel towns & a Tree Lightning Ceremony, we grabbed lunch at Taza’s. Our first time here and it was delish!!! 5 stars! Wonderfully authentic Mediterranean food. The server (I’m assuming owner) was incredibly kind and helpful (recognized our confusion as we looked at menu posted and all the incredible specialized protein, rice, & signature sauce choices). So he kindly walked us thru the menu. We each tried a bowl, hubby had chicken with a Sumac Signature Sauce while I had lamb with a Cucumber Dill sauce on Basmati Cilantro rice! Everything was so tender & flavorful! The side of fries came with a tasty unique dip. I loved that they even offered Strawberry Mint Lemonade or Limeaid for a refreshing choices among the soda options. We decided to dine in, so although you order at a counter …so has that fast food concept …the meal was served in a gorgeous serving bowl (highly unexpected, as it’s often just a paper products you receive in comparable establishments) it elevated the experience that much more. It was a large meal worth the price, I can’t wait to try the Baklava (we brought some home with us…yum yum). I highly recommend and look forward to coming back. Loved 🥰 everything about this quaint local authentic establishment!! We need more places like this. Total bill $29 for two large lunches...
Read moreI work in Eden Prairie, and usually go to Naf Naf Grill for my weekly Mediterranean food fix, but I don't think I will be going back to Naf Naf after discovering Taza today, simply because Taza is far more superior when it comes to the quality of food and how dang delicious every single ingredient was! I could not believe my taste buds when I took my first bite of the chicken, INCREDIBLE flavor and the cucumber dill sauce was the perfect compliment to it. I got a side salad with my dish and I was blown away by the variety of fresh ingredients to top it with and the honey dressing was one of the best salad dressings I've ever had. To top off this amazing experience, the customer service was as good as it gets. The two girls working behind the counter preparing my food were super friendly, and very patient when answering my questions and making decisions on what I wanted. I took a lot of their recommendations on toppings/sauces/dressings and I'm sure glad I did! Top notch customer service in every aspect. Plus, the manager came over and asked me how everything was when I was done eating, and he was so friendly and appreciative of my feedback. Definitely the type of business I want to support, and you better believe I will be using the loyalty card they offer because Taza just got a new regular out of me :-) Thank you, Taza! You provided one of the best lunch experiences I have had in a long, long,...
Read moreI used to recommend this over any fast casual place, like Chipotle, but their recent price hikes and changes in quality make it hard to now. A bowl with extra meat went from $12 to $15 to now $22. And instead of using a commercial grade gas grill, they are now using electric grills where they smash the meat flat, which smashes all the juices out of the meat if you order Beef Tenderloin or Chicken Skewers. They no longer have Koobideh, instead it's a thin patty. At this new price tier, I'd expect the order to be made fresh like Five Guys does (fresh burger and fresh fries). Will add a star back if they bring back gas grills with koobideh and remove the $2 salad upcharge. UPDATE: Fall 2023 - The portions are now reduced by like 30%, prices still the same. UPDATE2: Feb 2024 - The portions have been reduced even further, in total over 50% portion reduction and the prices have doubled. The new plastic containers trap all the steam in, making the fries instantly soggy. They skimp on portions massively now, they used to do the complete opposite. The quality is also at an all-time low, my lamb was stone cold like another reviewers who got food poisoning. Taking an additional two stars away, what a...
