Years from now I may look upon this review with amazement or shame as I proceed to convince you how insanely delicious this fast-food contender, Jollibee, fried chicken is. Jollibee has taken the crown for the best fried chicken away Pollo Campero and Popeyes. Jollibee provided many a firsts: --- Nov 21, 2023 was opening day and when I saw for the first time people in a line 25+ deep waiting to order, drive-thru line wrapped around restaurant 15+ cars deep, myself waiting for my pick-up for 45+ minutes, and not one table with an empty chair ..... all in a fast food restaurant. --- For first time, every Jollibee fried chicken piece stayed crisp and juicy after the long drive home; and I mean every piece, even the ones at the bottom of the bucket. --- Who knew dipping fried chicken in brown gravy is the best way to munch on fried goodness. --- Who knew Jollibee sweet spaghetti is the perfect pairing to put out the heat from Jollibee spicy fried chicken. --- Jollibee fried chicken is spicier than Popeyes and is far better spice-balanced than any spicy fried chicken elsewhere. Move over super high-end Yardbird because you got no spice that can compete with Jollibee. --- It was the first time, [multiple] fast food chicken pieces squirted hot meaty juice into my hands and arms leaving me wanting more. {In the words of Uncle Roger, 'sorry children'.} --- This is the first time a fast food joint is getting added to my coveted 'death row meal' list of places to eat.
Jollibee joins the ranks of recent Asian inspired food haunts that dares to bring really good flavors to the Chantilly-Dulles South area that many may deem to be culinary desert in years past. So thank you Jollibee, I'll be seeing you tomorrow night for dinner, and possibly on Thanksgiving day when my family doesn't notice my...
Read moreMy experience was okay. They had just recently opened, so I'm assuming, they're still trying to find their footing. We came on a Saturday night, so dine-in was really packed and the drive-thru had a really long line. The parking lot seemed to have parking spaces on the smaller side.
The wait to get our orders taken was longer than the time it took for our orders to come out. We initially only wanted to come in because we only wanted to eat pancit palabok. We were extremely disappointed to learn that it wasn't on the menu. The online menu didn't mention that this particular location didn't offer it. We settled for the 2-piece chicken joy with adobo fried rice. One of each of our 2-piece chicken was still kinda raw in the middle. The adobo fried rice didn't taste very flavorful. My rice was a little dry, but my parents said theirs seemed like it was overcooked. The gravy was good though. Combos don't include a drink so a full meal can be a little bit expensive.
They only have one set of drink dispensers, so it can get busy waiting to fill your drink cup. They also didn't get a chance to replenish their utensils area so had to ask for eating utensils and straws at the counter. The dine in area is also on the smaller side. I don’t think they anticipated needing more room or maybe they were unable to expand. I’m not sure. The staff were really nice and patient. Answered questions and service was pretty good.
Overall, it was okay. Nothing to rave about. We will probably not come back until pancit palabok is offered at the location. Again, because they had just recently opened, I think they're still trying to get...
Read moreIt truly breaks my heart to write this, but the Jollibee in Chantilly has gone noticeably downhill over the past year. As a Filipino, Jollibee has always been more than just fast food — it's a taste of home, a nostalgic comfort, and a place that once brought joy to our family outings. Sadly, that welcoming and warm atmosphere has completely disappeared.
The staff has become increasingly unprofessional and, at times, outright rude. On my most recent visit, I was shocked by how I was treated at the drive-thru. A young staff member showed clear annoyance and impatience when I asked for clarification about my order. I was then yelled at — yes, yelled at — for simply trying to understand my options. I left before completing my order because I genuinely felt uncomfortable and even afraid they might tamper with my food after that interaction.
What used to be a cherished part of our family's weekly routine is now a place we no longer feel safe or respected. This location has lost the heart and hospitality that made it special — especially to the Filipino community that helped make Jollibee what it is.
To the management at Jollibee Chantilly: you've lost a loyal, multi-generational Filipino family of customers who have supported this location since the day it opened. We sincerely hope changes are made to bring back the kindness, professionalism, and warmth that Jollibee is supposed...
