Smoki Kabobs in Chantilly is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the care and pride that the owner, Mr. Samadi, has poured into this place. He truly runs it with heart, and it shows in every single bite.
The chicken kabobs were unbelievably tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned—flavorful without being overpowering. Every bite felt fresh off the grill, and it’s the kind of taste that stays with you long after the meal is over. The lamb kabobs were just as incredible—rich, savory, and cooked to absolute perfection. You can tell they only use top-quality meat, and the freshness is unmatched.
But what really surprised me was the spinach. I honestly never thought I would rave about spinach at a restaurant, but I have never had anything so fresh and delicious in my life. It was vibrant, full of flavor, and complemented the kabobs beautifully. It felt like home-cooked comfort food but elevated with authentic Afghan flavors that you simply won’t find anywhere else.
Every dish here tastes like it was made with love, and the hospitality makes the experience even more special. Read moreOrdered on UberEats- I ordered a potato dish- got a dried out HORRIBLE over cooked meat dumpling. Didn’t order chick peas, got them. Ordered- and paid for mind you- dessert. Didn’t come. So I called the restaurant at 7pm- got an extremely RUDE lady who told me “they just guessed” at my dumplings (I didn’t order dumplings in the first place), and asked if I was close by, saying I could come in “sometime in the future” and get free dessert- um... NO. You screwed up- YOU find a way to get my order right- since I’m close by, run it over yourself. Then she straight up lied and said they’re closing anyway- I guess the hours until 9pm on their own site are wrong(?) haha ok. So I said- that’s fine I just won’t use you again. And I won’t. LOTS of options for kebabs in this area, LOTS of UberEats options too. The food completely sucked anyway- the naan was rock hard. The dumplings were so dry that there was a huge air pocket around shrunken meat. Awful. I’ll be getting hopefully a refund from UberEats for at least the items the restaurant got wrong, and I’ll advise them to maybe drop them as a partner....
