Taco 'bout awesome street tacos! Señor Ramon is by far the best spot for street tacos in the Chantilly area. Compared to Bar Taco in Reston, they pile a lot more meat and toppings on their tacos. I have been to other locations many times for a quick bite and was very excited when they opened their new Chantilly location, replacing Hatch.
They have beer, but this is more of a quick bite for lunch spot than their Sterling location shared with Crooked Run with a more upbeat atmosphere. For tacos, I would definitely recommend their Al Pastor, Señor Ramon, Ghost, and Chorizo tacos. Also try their Roasted Mexican Corn (Corn on the cob topped with a chipotle mayo dressing and cotija cheese) and Corn Nuggets (think Mexican hush puppies topped with a delicious lime cilantro dressing).
However, this location lacks consistent quality control as it varies daily. For example, the chicken in their Chicken Tinga tends to be dry and their Roasted Mexican Corn can range from excellent to tasting watered down, both instances from the food being left in the heating element/boiling pot too long. I really hope that with time, this location is more consistent. The Sterling location seems have more quality control and their beer cheese fries are much better than this location (definitely order those if you go). If you come the Chantilly Señor Ramon on the right day, their food...
Read moreShould have known better... Authenticate tacos, no Good drinks or drink specials, no Fair prices for a taco, no Quick or good service, no. It’s crazy to think you are in the DC area , a melting pot of culture and people try to sell you something with the idea its going to be a taco. Unfortunately if you order 3 tacos at 11$ and only get one lime... you are not getting the real deal. It reminded me when I visited Hungary and a couple of local friends invited me to a Mexican restaurant... they slop they were serving did not attract many people. In their defense they thought this would be a taste from back home. You can do better Chantilly! -need specials -margaritas are too sweet from their draft pour -give folks real taco topping bar: limón, cilantro, etc. -better service -happy hour...

I called beforehand to place an order and asked if there’s lettuce in the bowl, and the man said, “Yes we do otherwise it’s not called a SALAD!” Very rude and unnecessary remark, but I ignored it. Then went inside to pick up the order and once I got the bowl and asked for sauce, the man said loudly, “11.66.” And I got confused said “for the suace?” And he said “it’s not a free bowl pay for it. 11.66!” bowl is not free, you have to pay for it!” I had gotten confused, obviously paid, said sorry it’s my first time here. He completely ignored me, took the payment and harshly placed the sauces on the counter. Do NOT come here, there was no friendliness at all whatsoever. I’m disappointed as this was my first time coming and definitely not giving them...
