My wife and I ordered this on Friday Night. Right at first glance of my egg rolls I thought the food looked off… not fresh or appealing. I tasted one roll and it tasted so intense and stale and the meat was not fresh.
I decided not to eat my Beef Pho when the meat came completely raw and uncooked and the broth seemed old too. I lost my appetite.
My wife however soldiered on.. eating her little tofu sandwich and her chicken Pho. Though she commented she removed the chicken because it was rubbery.
She’s been bed ridden for days now. So sick she can’t keep anything down, and is sleeping constantly. She says it’s the worst food poisoning she’s ever had, and she and I have had some bad ones.
I’m thinking about calling the health inspector. This place should not be serving anything to anyone. The reviews that say they like this place must be sponsored or something because there’s no just way.
The meat is pictured below. It’s just raw, and the soup isn’t hot enough to cook it.
EDIT: You can see they responded to this saying something about me "being sensitive" to beef. This review is not just about the beef being raw, and I fail to see how wanting my meat cooked constitutes a sensitivity to it. I just want cooked food.
Also my wife at the chicken Pho, which was made her so sick. And we KNOW it was from here. We ate all the same food the whole weekend, and this was the ONLY difference. That and you could literally tell the food was no good. Food was old, stale, smelled intense and made her SICK.
Basically they didn't address all the issues I mentioned and did not take...
Read moreBEST VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT IN THE TRIANGLE AREA!! I first doordashed from this place because it was listed as #1 on doordash. I was skeptical about delivery pho, but it was so good! Highly recommend the house combo pho. The broth was piping hot and the toppings/noodles/meat were extremely fresh, even though it was delivery. I also doordashed tonkotsu ramen, which was also amazing. The egg included in the ramen was the perfect texture and the ramen wasn't overly salty, which I have experienced in the past. I also ate at this location in-person, and the atmosphere is great! Very clean and well-decorated environment, there is an artistic mural on the wall. The service is AMAZING as well, our server was very attentive and polite. I ordered the pork belly banh mi combo, COULD NOT RECOMMEND MORE! Banh mi was crispy and fragrant, and the FRIES WERE THE BEST I HAVE HAD! Very well seasoned and the condiments were amazing. Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMEND you eat here, whether it be delivery or dine in. Read morePho Happiness is relatively new. It is very nice-clean, and casual, booths and tables. It wasn't a busy time, about 930pm..their hours are great, they are open until very late (a few of the places that are open late here in Chapel Hill )The service is very good and attentive. They aim to please, always ensuring everything is just right. Prices are reasonable. The food was really, really good. The flavors were there in all entrees we ordered. Tried the cream cheese rangoons-delicious (they could use a little more crab😉) the sweet n sour sauce tasted homemade. The pho curry-wow, tasted wonderful but not overpowering or too spicy, very balanced. The pho beef was just as it should be, delicious broth, tender beef and noodles, wonderfully balanced flavors. Finally the Pad Thai, and it was the best I've had here in CH. This place has got it, and for our sake, I hope its wonderful-ness sticks around!...
