Ordered New Years Eve. My in-laws went for years here. Pizza wasn't ready when we arrived, ordered and paid days ago. Forgot half the order. Said they, "forgot to put it in." They did offer to deliver it, but we live too far for delivery. Told us 15 minutes, was over half an hour closer to forty-five minutes. Due to the wait exceeding the fifteen minutes by so much, they gave it to us for free, but hinted at the tip jar pretty boldly, which they didn't have to do we would have done anyways and a lady behind us seemed upset they hinted at it so hard and we actually did so, to the point of stopping us in the parking lot to warn us about tipping on food given for free due to poor service and how it invites more poor service. Maybe her hints were a foreshadow, because when we opened it, things got worse... We got a huge party box pizza, half sausage half cheese. The middle cheese pieces all had on one side sausage, and I chose to eat them despite hating sausage. Everyone who had some of the sausage ended up with food poisoning, and it's the only thing in common we all ate who have food poisoning this morning. We were all sick within six hours of eating it, which is standard for food poisoning, and most of us who did throw up felt better after it was purged, so again, standard food poisoning. Only thing I'm pulling from this is being sick on New Years Day traditionally means good health for the rest of the year. I'm just not going to go back after this. My in-laws can, but I'll have my own meal next...
Read moreI have been eating this pizza for 10yrs now. Since Covid, the service has gone down almost to rock bottom. Today I ordered a small cheese pizza like I do every Friday for my kids. I placed the order at 4:15pm they said 45 min. I showed up 45 min later and had to wait along with 6 other patrons in the small doorway bc the pizza wasn’t done yet. Finally when I asked again to check on pizza 15 min after it was supposed to be up, they said it just came up. It literally takes 2 min to prep a small cheese pizza and 15 - 20 min depending on oven temp to cook it. Having to wait 70 min for a small cheese pizza at a time when they literally just opened is obscene. At least dominos has it to u in 25 min no matter what.
A month ago I left a VM to complain that my pizza and chicken tenders were cold and took a pic of it. No one ever called me back or even credited my account or even said sorry our bad. It’s time to close this place down or sell it to people who can actually run the place properly. This is totally a staff and service issue. The food when cooked on time is very good. Anyways spend the extra 10 bucks and get NOCE which is and has always been a step...
Read moreOrdered from Congin's of Chardon today after hearing a great review of the Nottingham location. When ordering, I explained to the young lady it was my 1st time trying their pizza and inquired if they are pretty moderate with sauce or really light. I was told they are pretty light so she suggested ordering extra sauce. Cool. I specifically asked for "a really little extra sauce" and unfortunately I got so much sauce, my pizza dough isn't cooked all the way and the pizza is pretty inedible. I called and spoke with Luke because I wanted to let them know for future and I was pretty disappointed when he asked me to "give them another try" but didn't offer to make this experience right even after I explained that the pizza is so soggy, my family can't even eat it. 30 minute drive and $31.50 down the drain and still have to buy lunch for my family. I gave 2 stars because I think the pizza would probably be really good if I could taste it and not just sauce. (The pic is the amount of sauce I scraped off of a couple slices and there's still a ton left.)...
