I cannot give an honest review on the food or food service as I was not able to dine in, but what I will say is that the older woman working the hostess table needs to seriously reconsider her attitude to guests coming in. I stopped by a few weeks ago without a reservation around 5:15pm (my husband, son and I were hoping to grab a quick dinner after church) and as soon as I walked up to the hostess, I was met with what felt like coldness and disgust that I would even ask if they had any tables available for my small family. At the time there were no other guests dining, just a few at the bar. I completely understand how reservations work and having limited availability, but there is a genuine and kind way to voice this to guests, not eye rolling and treating me like I was dumb for asking. When I was asked when reservations were starting (again, I was staring at an entirely empty restaurant), I was met with a quick and sharp âright now!!!â. I also inquired about the patio if there were any openings, and before I could finish my sentence, I was quickly shut down with a âNope! im not seating anyone out there!â even though it was a warm and sunny evening and the door was open-genuine question from my end. Once again, not one to complain that there was not space for us, I get it, we didnât have a reservation, but the treatment alone gave me all I needed to know and will not be returning through those doors to be treated as such. In contrast, the same situation went down at Square Bistro, however the hostess was SO kind and apologetic and was trying so hard to see if they could squeeze us in even though they ultimately werenât able to. That is how customer facing roles should act. I hope this was a one off for your employee, but it unfortunately left a bad taste...

Read moreThe hostess was cold and very rude. The waitress was overall good, but became annoyed when we asked some questions about the food. The waitress was offering us boxes before we had even finished eating. We had to tell her yes, but not right now weâre still eating. We werenât offered dessert, coffee, or additional drinks.
We were surprised to learn that they use frozen pasta. We had hoped it would be fresh made in-house, or at the very least fresh. Itâs definitely not a fine dining restaurant or a scratch kitchen
We had the calamari appetizer and it was good. My small house salad was good, just a typical salad, but the dressing was really good, it had pickled onions in it. The bread served with the meal was not tasty.
My dining companion had the carbonara pasta. The pasta didnât taste good. It definitely tasted previously frozen. It also seemed about a minute undercooked. And the sauce was broken, clumpy. I had the short rib tagliatelle. The taste of the pasta was better, but some of the pasta wasnât fully cooked, especially where the noodles had stuck together, and some of the mushrooms were burned black, which gave the whole dish a burnt taste. And the pasta wasnât tagliatelle it was papperdelle. Both dishes were way too salty. The tagliatelle had a sugary taste that was off-putting. The restaurant is very loud and itâs hard to hear. I saw some of the other main courses other diners had - the meats did look good. But I like to test restaurants before springing for a $60 steakâŠ. Our experience was poor enough that we...
