We were really looking forward to trying a new place. Been going to Square Bistro a lot and wanted to mix it up. Looked like as good of a menu at Element with excellent credentials for Chef Paul and mostly good reviews. Sadly, I can't count us among them. We started with the Crabcake and the presentation was okay, but a little colorless (maybe mix in some purple cabbage with the Cole slaw?). Sauce was good but it shouldn't have been the star of the plate. Crabcake was more breading than crab meat and the slaw had too much mayonnaise. A vinegar & oil would have been much better on the slaw. Time for the entree though. There's still hope. We didn't feel like a big meal but who could go wrong with a burger, right? Sadly, wrong again. My wife said the 41 Burger was just kind of bland. No distinct grilled flavor, spices, marinade... anything! I got the Beyond Beef Vegetarian Burger thinking it'll be like the Beyond Meat or Impossible Burger. Wrong again! Just like the crabcake, too much breading, filler, binding, whatever they use. Never heard of Beyond Beef but if that's a purchased burger, time to scrap it! No distinct flavor here either. Come on guys, a veggie burger today should be kickin! Trader Joe's Quinoa Cowboy is awesome, with corn in it and spices. There's no excuse for having a bland veggie burger in today's world. Fries were good and the pickles were crunchy and fresh, but they shouldn't have been the star of the plate and certainly weren't the part of the meal I was counting on. We both ate only half of our order and the poor overworked server seemed relieved when we did not want to take the remainder home. She was the only server we saw for the entire room, although the bartender brought some drinks out to tables and a guy from the kitchen was bringing food out. Service was painfully slow but the server was very nice. It took 15 minutes just to get the check though. Not the best ending. Very disappointing experience throughout when we had such high hopes going in. On the bright side, we didn't leave stuffed and...

First time here and I will be back! All the staff I came in contact with were very friendly, polite, RESPECTFUL and most of all patient
Let's also start off by saying and giving thanks that Element 41 puts the sauce/ketchup etc in a cup. That right there is extra points cause you don't have to worry about who handled the bottle before you and where their hands have been that you are gonna touch and then you gotta go wash hands to eat your food again or some people say hell with it and eat their food with those germs... Yuckie! So yes I LOVE the fact they do that separate cup thing!
For appetizer I had the perogies You get 4 with onions, a cup of sour cream and a cup of applesauce. JUST MY OPINION: nothing impressive or special about them. Tasted like and made me think they might be Ms T perogies!
Also had the Element 41 burger and fries. It was pretty decent - cooked to perfection with a good amount of fries. It comes with coleslaw but I didn't eat it so can't tell you how it was.
SERVICE: The hostess and waitress were great. They didn't have a problem writing to me on my boogie board as I am deaf and that's the easiest way for communication.
If you are looking for a quiet restaurant on the square without a long wait Element 41 is the place for a...

Dined this evening with friends and had another fantastic meal. Our server, Bonnie, was great. Very personable and quick to offer suggestions and share her opinions, fantastic sense of humor as well.
We shared three apps; Mediterranean Calamari, Burnt Ends, and Arancini. All three were spectacular.
Entrees were Flank steak and goat cheese, Tomahawk pork chop (2), and Smoked Bruschetta Chicken Pasta. Highs marks on all.
Love getting a chance to dine at Element 41, bummed to miss the Family. Next time. Attended the Chardon Brewfest and our group traveled across the street to Element 41. We had a group of 8 and enjoyed a center table in the middle of everything. Live music, good crowd, and better food. Everyone enjoyed their meals immensely and were impressed with our Server (Taylor). She did a great job keeping everyone beverages and made sure all meals were as expected.
The food was great, drinks were wonderful (Green Tea? Lol) and the atmosphere was just what our group was looking for to round out an enjoyable trip to Chardon Square. We can’t wait to head back, we won’t wait till next...
