Situated in the Jasper, Costa emerges as a beacon of culinary delight, seamlessly fusing the coastal allure of Italy with the sleek rhythm of a modern disco. From the moment one steps through its doors, a symphony of sophistication and flavor unfolds. The intertwining of coastal Italian aesthetics with contemporary elegance creates a sensory experience that is both glamorous and inviting. The sleek design effortlessly complements the vibrant energy of Charleston, setting the stage for a memorable dining affair. The culinary prowess exhibited at Costa is nothing short of exemplary. Each dish is a masterpiece. The menu is short and sweet offering a well curated palette of flavors. From the first bite, it is evident that the chefs at Costa possess an unparalleled dedication to their craft, resulting in dishes that are as visually stunning as they are delectable. Lisa and I had the burrata, ravioli, swordfish, broccolini and focaccia. The wine selection at Costa is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence. A curated collection of vintages from both Italy and beyond graces the menu, offering a perfect accompaniment to the diverse flavors presented. The knowledgeable staff stands ready to guide patrons through the wine list, ensuring that each selection enhances the dining experience. The attentive and personable service at Costa elevates the overall dining experience. The staff exudes a genuine passion for their craft, providing recommendations with a warmth that complements the restaurant's inviting atmosphere. From the moment one is seated to the final farewell, the seamless service contributes to an evening of unparalleled enjoyment. In conclusion, Costa is a gem in Charleston's culinary landscape, seamlessly blending coastal Italian flavors with a modern, chic ambiance reminiscent of a sleek disco. The impeccable cuisine, paired with a thoughtful wine selection and attentive service, creates an atmosphere that is both refined and inviting. Costa is not merely a restaurant; it is an experience—an exquisite journey into the heart of coastal Italian indulgence.

"Stylishly beautiful restaurant with a real buzz and utterly wonderful approachable food. Not peasant cooking by any means but sophisticated takes on Italian coastal cooking. Oysters are widely available in Charleston and are almost uniformely less than wonderful (undersized, often served still attached to their shells and kinda bland) those we slurped tonight were meaty, briny and kissed with olive oil not overwhelmed by acidic condiments with the acid being delivered with a squeeze of netted cherry tomatoes. Almost too cute: but it works! House made Foccacia is perfect. The ubiquitous Burrata is fresh as can be and perked by Calabrian Chilies, Leeks and fresh herbs. The Primi list Green Salad is delivered as a perfect whole head of beautiful hydroponic lettuce adorned with a sparkle of salty Grana Padano, peperoncini, pistachios and zingy citrusy olive oil and vinegar. Pork Milanese would make any Viennese schnitzel-chef jealous and the portion is more than adequate for four diners. Our server advised that portions are scaled for sharing but the two of us each ordered a main - my wife chose the Chicken Porchettato a spin on the famous pork loin rolled and rotisseried classic. Succulent and more dainty than the classic and its Jus Gras and a spike of fresh rosmary is just right. Contorni for us was succulent roast Brocollini graced with more Grana Pradano and Calabrian Chili. Couldn't begin to finish it all but still sampled the dense but bitter-sweet and delicious Chocolate Torte nestled with a pillow of unsweetened meringue plus the Lemon Tiramisu with a spike of Coriander. The open kitchen looked like a well-oiled machined and the floor service was calm and efficient. We did not sample the wine or cocktail list on this visit but they are extensive with quality wines both by the glass and bottle. Well satisfied, we took away with us protiens and veg for at least two more meals. We will be back."

We went for an improptu date night and Costa was recommended by one of the manager at Chubby Fish Restaurant. They had vallet parking for the restaurant so no worry on parking since the restaurant is in the apartment building with limited parking. The inside of the restaurant was really nice and we were greeted as soon as we entered and they seated us on our table right away. Our waiters was attentive and gave us some recomendation on drinks and meal. She explained the drinks very well and seemed very verses on the curated menu as well. We ordered himachi crudo as one of our appetizer which was sweet and fresh, cue the mandarin brown butter and yuzu sauce. We also ordered the beef carpaccio and it has some asian spin and I really enjoyed this dish! The banh mi flavor and the crunchi peanuts were a good mix. For the main course I had the grilled cherri points sword fish that was delightful with caper, lemon, and olive oil, however the portion is very small. My husband ordered the pecorini ravioli and he said it was really good and the filling of the ravioi was black. We ordered the broccolini and love that we did since the main course portion was really small. For dessert, I had the delicious tiramisu espresso martini. It was a good impromptu date night overall.

I want to start by saying how excited I was to try this new restaurant as a local in Charleston. I had several clients of mine rave about it and I booked two months out to celebrate my anniversary. We booked for a Friday at 8:30 (the only time available). We walked in and were in awe with the beauty of the place. It was incredibly loud but with how busy it was I was understanding. We were sat directly behind the hostess station, which was a bit disappointing but we made due. Once we were greeted by our server whom couldn’t even pronounce where he was working we were given zero description of the menu. Any questions we had were answered with “I don’t know I haven’t had that”. He was a very young, clearly inexperienced server. Blindly we ordered a large sum of the menu including the special. His service was so delayed that I can’t rate the food poorly. The flavors were excellent but our entries were both cold and took far too long. I originally had a glass of white wine to then switch to a glass of Prosecco and he began to bring the bottle over and poor in my old wine glass. Had we of maybe had a better table, or server we could have really experienced what all this restaurant seems to offer. This is my first ever review on a restaurant but as a person from here, whom loves to support local I am just so disappointed. I am huge fan of Zero George, Wild common and Cannon green! I really hope to have a better experience. With it being new I am a firm believer of trying again, but unfortunately I will wait a...
