Charleston Cheese — Restaurant in Charleston

I looked all over to try and find a website or a email address so that I could send them this personally because I don’t like leaving poor reviews especially to new restaurants. However, I have tried charleston cheese on two separate occasions and was overwhelmingly disappointed. The food overall lacked so much flavor and was entirely bland. I’m not sure how Mac and cheese can be that flavorless, they could be serving kraft and it would be better. My friends and I felt that the Mac and cheese wasn’t “cheesy” enough. They could have mixed in extra cheese and it would be better. The Buffalo chicken dip was terrible and also needed more cheese (cheddar and cream cheese). And everything needed seasoning. It was so bland. I’m sorry. The mozzarella sticks were actually pretty good but they just fry those from frozen so it can’t be that hard. Visiting grandson and he took us to one of his fav places, Charleston Cheese. I got the cheeseburger grilled cheese with Vermont white cheddar, with a scoop of Mac 'n cheese. Very good and more than enough. Unique way of doing the cheeseburger with thick slices of bread. Bread was a little much for me, but can see it would work with the target market. Super friendly, hard working couple with a nice niche business. I can see how this could be a big success. A varied menu with plenty of soft drink or shake options. If you like spicy, try the pepper jack Mac 'n cheese. Will knock your socks off. I thought the Vermont white could use a bit more cheese, but that's just me. I’m disappointed. Mostly in myself. I broke my diet because I’m in Charleston and wanted some southern Mac and cheese. When I tell you this is the blandest Mac and cheese I have ever had, it’s an understatement. There was no cheese on these noodles.
