Magic Wok — Restaurant in Charleston

Magic Wok has been around for a long time and my husband used to frequent the buffet back when he was in high school(90’s). He hasn’t lived in the area in decades, but we were all back in the area for family. We decided to try Magic Wok. We didn’t order the buffet, but instead ordered Vegetable Mei Fun, egg drop soup, pepper chicken onion and rice. The food was delicious and we decided to come back the next day with our son. We ordered more of the yummy Vegetable Mei Fun, but this time tried the mixed veggie soup and my son ordered the pepper steak and rice. We were all happy and full. Ordered from here like we have so many times before but food quality and quantity has gone down hill . I called to talk to a manager but was not allowed to talk to them. The combo platters are now 90% rice with very little main item like General TSO chicken. Shrimp fried rice had four small shrimp. Didn't get my entire order. When I told the young lady that I didn't get my crispy noodles she asked me if I knew what Krispy noodles were. Like I am stupid. Just will not order from there again. It's gone down hill. Great food and highly recommend! I usually get general Tao or orange chicken for take out. Hearty portion sizes that are enough to have leftovers for the next day. Friendly staff and good buffet selection as well.
