McDonald's — Restaurant in Charleston

If I could rank zero stars, I would, because that is exactly what I guess nothing. This is the worst or McDonald’s established, I was told after waiting for over 10 minutes at the menu that I was unable to order a sprite, a single soft drink because the restaurant was ““ undergoing cleaning. This was at 11:10 PM at a McDonald’s that clearly advertise itself open until midnight. I put the side as a photo photo of maybe you could clarify some confusion. Hopefully someone can see that who actually has common sense and won’t know that this is the single-handed. Worst McDonald’s in existence. I have only ever been here one other time, and I was almost as piss poor. The fact that you cannot hire someone who is capable of running to register for more than six hours in a day, sir and frankly, embarrassing has a mask. I think the owners of this franchise feel some sort of remorse and shame for the quality of workers that they have decided to hire Tom, I know exactly what time his restaurants are clean because I have a friend every single one of the Whitney‘s locations, which I will be more than happy to bring my business to for the next remainder of my life and especially not McDonald’s or some overcarbonated, disgusting, overpriced sprite, and I only bought it because it was the closest thing to me. Honestly I try not to go to any fast food restaurants after 3 or 4. Because the night shift crew is always terrible. This is my second time at this location. And the morning shift is fast and efficient. Even the manager handled my loss of a smoothie with a milkshake. But when I first came in a worker was in the bathroom, two different times (on her break and not on her break), cursing on the phone at her childrens father and his family. I know this because she was stating all her business. And the general manager had to get onto workers about cleaning. The lobby was a bit of a mess. Now night shift it depends. Some will do their job as far as being courteous. You have workers sitting in the lobby or conversations on their phones instead of working. (Non emergency means don't focus on your phone) Their lobby smells like their bathrooms.But their drive through is terrible. From the time I pulled up until I left 4 people left the line. The wait time should not be over 2 minutes with how slow it is. And if they would stop having personal conversations, get off their phones, and focus this wouldn't be a problem. I definitely will not be returning to this location ever. It took 10 min for anyone to acknowledge us to take our order. Both computers for ordering are broken. The air isn’t on and it was at least 90° who can actually eat in a hot building like that. The employees were standing at the entrance door smoking and their cigarette smoke filled the whole place while we were there waiting for almost 10 min for someone to take our order while they stand there smoking and laughing. I asked a manager if she could ask them to stop because the cigarette smoke was so strong and her response was at least they aren’t smoking inside and walked off saying there’s no law against smoking. The cashier rang me up extra for a drink I tried to get either the drink or the money back and she told me I didn’t know how to read the receipt and she did it right. Then another employee handed me and extra cup I asked her why and she said my receipt showed that many drinks. So I was right.
