Cuvée Bistro — Restaurant in Charlotte Amalie

From the valet on, every thing was perfect! The proprietor was at the host stand, apparently I made our reservation at the wrong Cuvee`, some other country! But she said if we could work us in. Thank goodness because I had researched that restaurant before going to St. Thomas. My son, daughter in law and I are all foodies and this was our MUST GO TO restaurant in St. Thomas! We went to the bar where Mac took good care of us, he was warm and engaging. Knowledgeable, everything you expect of the perfect bartender! The wine list was 👌🏻! I had a delicious Pinot Noir from the Williamette Valley! Jennifer had a glass of my wine. My son really liked drinking all local beers and Mac picked a great one. She seated us quicker than expected! A wonderful table out front on the patio, we were so happy! Excellent menu! I had a pan seared foie gras and my kids are lobster bisque. For our entrees, they had Surf and Turf for 2. I chose the Lobster Thermador over Pappadelle pasta. I had pan seared scallops on the side. The food was mouth watering. Everything cooked to perfection. Their steak was on point temperature wise and very tender! My scallops plump and juicy! The lobster so sweet and tasty, I never made it to the pasta! For dessert I chose Chocolate Mousse. My daughter in law and I had espresso martinis. She had never had one. I think my son had another beer, right now I can't remember because I'm remembering how perfect mine was! The martinis were yummy! I didn't even eat eat half of my food! The kids ( they're not children here lol) had food leftover too. Our service was on point as well. Wonderful ambiance, excellent service, mouth watering food! Couldn't ask for a better experience! Hands down the best meal we had in St. Thomas!! We eloped in St. Thomas this day and Blue 11 cancelled our reservation for dinner. We were frustrated but luckily Cuvee still had a table for two. In the end, we were actually grateful for the cancellation. The waitress at Cuvee was very attentive and knew the menu well. We started with Blackened Diver Scallops which were cooked to perfection. We shared the surf and turf which had all of our favorites (steak, lobster, mashed potatoes, and sprouts). The price was great for the amount we received. It is a perfect meal for two! For dessert we had the delicious key lime pie cheesecake with raspberry sorbetto. For cocktails we had an espresso martini, old fashioned, the peacock, and the fire and passion. Where to start about this gem of a place in St. Thomas? We came to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and we are so glad that we did! The food is simply delicious; the beef short rib special literally melted in my mouth, and the grilled Caesar salad and beef tartare were the perfect appetizers to warm up the taste buds for the amazing food to come for the rest of the evening. What really made the night so special was the wonderful and attentive staff; our server and the owner make you feel like part of the family.
