From the moment we arrived, our experience at this historical villa was nothing short of extraordinary. The property itself is a masterpiece—rich with history, charm, and character. Every corner tells a story, beautifully preserved yet thoughtfully updated to offer modern comfort without compromising authenticity.

What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the owner. Jeff is exceptionally welcoming, gracious, and attentive, they went above and beyond to make sure we felt not just accommodated, but truly at home. Whether it was offering local recommendations, helping with logistics, or simply sharing the history of the villa, their hospitality was unmatched.

The rooms were spotless, the atmosphere peaceful, and the surroundings breathtaking. From the tranquil gardens to the original architectural details, it felt like stepping into another era—but with every modern convenience thoughtfully in place. The villa is perfectly situated within easy walking distance to charming local shops, cafés, and restaurants.

GORGEOUS location to stay and you can feel the history and the relaxation ooze thru you on the property. I believe that one would be hard pressed to find this kind of place to stay with its charm, amazing centralized location to town, beaches and OMG OMG THE BREATH TAKING views!!!!!! WOW !!!!

The rooms have all of the wonderful amenities and have been upgraded so that anyone that would REALLY want to unplug and not be in the "typical" tourist trap hotel, would feel VERY comfortable and be able to really relax. The onsite owners Jeff and Shannon are so warm and welcoming and upon speaking to Jeff, his family goes back 5 generations on the island. You heard it.....5 generations. (Do the math on that one 😊😊) He was able to point me out to the best locations for EVERYTHING so I didnt have to spin around in circles. Food, shopping, beaches. I hit a gold mine being here and meeting him. His wife Shannon was just as amazing with her warm welcoming and attendance to detail and amazing customer service.

I can stay anywhere I want to on St Thomas. Anywhere. I will always stay at Villa Santana and no where else...

We found Villa Santana online, quite by accident, and fell in love with it. It took us a year to finally get there, but it was well worth the wait!

This historical property has been beautifully restored, very well maintained, and gives a feeling of being in a calmer, more gracious world... The view of downtown Charlotte Amalie and the Harbor is lovely - day & night. We stayed in "La Terraza," which was lovely, so comfortable and had everything we needed..... But what really made the stay at Villa Santana a vacation to remember were the hosts/owners - Shannon & Jeff. From arrival to departure, they were helpful in every way - making sure we had everything we needed, giving us suggestions for things to do, arranging for us to meet with a lovely tour guide, and even helping us make dinner reservations!
