Compare Foods Supermarket — Local services in Charlotte

I'm writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received this past Sunday at your store. I encountered a problem with a coupon I was trying to use, and Ms Alexandria (Supervisor and or Store manager) & Karen C went above and beyond to help me.

Both ladies were incredibly professional, courteous, and patient throughout the entire interaction. They took the time to understand the issue with the coupon, The system wouldn't recognize the barcode, because couple of the items on my cart were on sale--and according to the coupon, no sale items can be on the cart. However; they diligently investigated possible solutions.

Ms Alexandria knowledge of store policies, communication with colleagues and troubleshooting skills ultimately led to a successful resolution. They were able to breakdown and explain the successful outcome.

Thanks to Ms Alexandria and Karen C stellar customer service, I was able to complete my shopping trip with all the items I needed and the savings I expected. Their positive attitude and problem-solving skills truly made a difference in my experience.

I commend you for having such a dedicated and knowledgeable staff on your team. Both Ms Alexandria and Karen C are a valuable asset to your store, and I will definitely be returning for future shopping trips.

The other reviews about it being a racist environment are not lying. It’s a nice supermarket, but every time I go inside and I’m by myself or with my husband I never feel welcome to be there. BUT when my husband goes in he’s always given the best customer service and everyone is so kind to him and patient with the fact that he’s learning to speak Spanish. For context, I’m black and my husband is white and he talks about all his amazing interactions with the people in the store, but whenever I’m there, even HE notices that I’m being treated differently because he also starts being treated differently. He loves this store and the take out food, but honestly the shopping experience is always stressful for me. Today even though we paid for our food, while my husband was tying his bag shut a man in the front peeked into it before he did. Even my husband told me that he never does that to him and that when he’s getting takeout they’re usually a lot nicer to him. It never feels good to be so obviously discriminated against. Especially not when dealing with a white husband who has no idea what’s happening to him “everyone just seems like they’re in a bad mood now” but for me, I see it...

I'm blown away by the exceptional experience I have every time I visit Compare Foods Supermarket in Charlotte! Not only do they outshine every other supermarket in Charlotte, but they even surpass the quality and service of many restaurants around town!

In fact, I've had the pleasure of visiting several Compare Foods Supermarket locations throughout North Carolina, and I can confidently say that this Charlotte location is the BEST of them all!

The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that every customer feels valued and satisfied.

But the real showstopper is the hot food - it's absolutely SPECTACULAR! The flavors, the quality, the presentation... everything is simply top-notch. I'm struggling to find words to express just how amazing it is. You'll just have to try it for yourself!
