I have passed this place before and always wanted to try. Recently I did and it’s safe to say that I’ll be back. A welcoming environment and had samples on arrival. That was helpful and made the decision that I’m definitely getting something. There’s a case filled with sweet and savory pastries. She recommended the ice cream, as she has a roasted peach flavor. Handmade ice cream mind you. Which was creamy and delicious. She also provided dry ice to keep it cold for my ride home. I did get some cake, the Carmel and chocolate. I love Carmel, not the biggest fan of chocolate, but I’ll definitely get this cake again. Making a chocolate cake is a delicate process and she mastered it having flavor without being too sweet. My husband & I recently got married in Mexico so we couldn’t bring back any of our wedding cake to freeze. We saw that Alexandra’s had a pineapple & coconut cake which sounded similar to the piña colada cake we had at our wedding. We decided to buy the cake from Alexandra’s so we could freeze the cake and have on our anniversary but we had to try some first, and OMG it is delicious. The pineapple and coconut are both so flavorful, the icing is perfectly sweet and the cake is moist and fluffy. It’s a perfect cake. I love the that this bakery has many different varieties of sweets to choose from. The gourmet popcorn was really good. We actually came back and purchased another bag. The pumpkin cheesecake I had to wait for it to unthaw. When it unthawed the pumpkin flavor overpowered the cheesecake. I was expecting it to be sweeter. The lady who was there was beautiful inside and out. She gave excellent customer service. Great atmosphere. The prices were fine. I will definitely come back and try...
