Bojangles — Restaurant in Charlotte

Ordering from this specific location made me second guess visiting ANY other Bojangles' due to their customer service. After church last Sunday (January 17, 2016) I went there to grab a bite to eat in between services hoping to get a pleasant meal. I ordered through drive-thru and asked for the Chickn' Supreme Combo with Mac N' Cheese as my side with a bottle water. The young lady was kind of rude but I over looked it thinking she might not have had a great day. I waited 15 minutes in line. After pulling up I paid for my order and did not receive a receipt with my change. The lady informed us that it would take another three minutes for my Mac N' Cheese. As she was informing me her attitude was very rude on a scale of nine, if I wanted something in place of the Mac N' Cheese. I replied "No. I will wait the three minutes."because I was under the impression that it would ONLY take another three minutes and I really wanted Mac N' Cheese. After 20 minutes of waiting I went back inside to ask to speak with the manager. The place was nasty and no one took pride in their job. I asked for a refund for my meal and did not receive any resisting from the manager. I received my total refund and an offer to give me a free drink which I declined. No apologies and no asking of what happened and why I wanted the refund.

I am not expecting Bojangles to treat me like Chic' Fil A but I am expecting to receive great customer service wherever I am choose to spend my money.

I’m not sure if the people working cannot read, or purposefully mess up orders but I have yet to have my order correct from this restaurant. I received the wrong side, no sauces that I paid for, the food was cold and I waited an ungodly time for the order. I have tried going here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner but it doesn’t matter, something is always wrong. Triple check your order before you leave if you even dare to go. It’s best to avoid them at all cost.

Update 6/5/22. 8:58 pm on a Sunday, they don’t close till 10pm. All lights and signs are turned off, I pull around and ask the person outside taking trash out if they’re still open, he says yes. I pull to window and sit for 4 minutes before I ask the speaker are they open, a snippy reply is “yea”. I asked are you ready for me to order? No reply. I wait 2 more minutes, and again ask “are you guys ready for my order”, she said “no, give me a minute.” After sitting for 13 minutes at the order window, I am beyond angry and ask, what the deal is. Layla (the girl running the speaker) says “we are short staffed, if you don’t want to wait, you can go somewhere else” THERE WERE NO OTHER CARS IN FRONT OF ME. I went here 03/06/24 and part of my order was a half gallon tea half sweet half unsweetened. So out of the workers there was only one with a friendly demeanor. There was a young man with dreads and a heavy set young lady with an old school necklace like the ones the rappers use to wear back in the 80’s. Mind you she had the stone face the entire time. So, come time for my tea he gonna say oh we don’t have any unsweetened. I said I can’t have super sweet beverages. The nice young woman said how there’s no unsweetened tea ever ready. She said it takes unsweetened to make sweetened? I tell him I want my money back. He gonna tell me they don’t give refunds. So after the nice young lady asked why they don’t ever have unsweetened they go in the back. For about 10 minutes he comes out with this dark thing of “TEA” talking about it was fresh brewed. LMBO. I told him I didn’t want that liquid he went out of sight to make. He gonna say I don’t have any ill intent. Young folk out here shameful.
